Just love everything about this idea and Ariel for being such sport to accommodate FEs unmatched equilibrium skills. So much fun to listen to this Approved from 🇸🇪

The logical backflips that exist in this statement is an unmitigated disaster. What a disappointing human you are.

It's really amazing how her graph is actually starting to make a reversal after a few lessons, great job to you and absolutely well done to her, if she likes this challenge, I can't wait to see her crush NL100 in a few months ;)

What if I flop quads in position an there is a bad beat jackpot. I don't check?

I think it is intuitive to say we should slow-play more OOP and less IP, because the pot size is directly correlated to the number of bets. When OOP, we should bet or check-raise as soon as we can in order to get max (3/4) number of bets in. When IP, we always have the opportunity to put a raise at any street so we can wait, aka slow-play. Am I missing something?

“Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.” First thing you show to a beginner is how people react to the fact that they are mostly playing only good cards and only carrying the goods. Once you show them that every time you bet people always think you have the nuts, it's easier to implement some bluff into overtight beginners. You also fix their bet/bet/bet approach and mix it up with slowplays, check-raises and you can transform somewhat quickly a very ordinary tight player into a fearsome opponent for an experienced non professional player. You can also incorporate bluffs by asking the player to bluff specific card combos so you force them to arbitrarily play weak hands as strong ones to compensate.

sure try to play like that in micro limits where all to players call every raise and see if this works. lol.

4:38 I don't get that. How is IP not capping his range? If he bets a polarized range and checks all medium strength hands his range is very capped if he checks no?

polar what?

Is this good to incorporate in live lowstakes?
@chrisw38693 жыл бұрын
In my experience live low stakes is so exploitable that playing pure GTO is just overkill. Players are generally wildly overcalling and underbluffing. I find a lot of the time it's pretty much "Wait for a nutted hand and bet value"
