Thanks for the review! I'd love to know more specifics about how it differs to the version 2 if that's possible! I can't seem to find much info regarding the changes. Really tossing up between the two shoes

An absolute pleasure mate! From what I’ve heard from others (Reddit) the V1 had more of a rocker feel than the V2 .. unfortunately I haven’t tested either of these but from my best guesses the V3 probably has a slightly more aggressive rocker for faster paces compared to the last model. For example, I felt completely comfortable running low 6 minute miles in this shoe which is an effort for me even in Nike Alpha Flys. I’ve also heard a few comments about durability in question after 200 miles.. I’m not sure if the Pulsar 3’s durability has been improved but these are easily lasting 500+ miles 💫 Also, the 3’s have more of a sock-like 🧦 feeling.. this has made it more comfortable for me going true to size and getting a true performance fit as usually in salamons I have to go up half a size 🔥 Hope this helps mate 👊🏽

Thanks for this review👌🏼 The S/LAB Pulsar 1 is my fav shoe of all time, but no shoe is «perfect», and for me the Pulsar 1 is somewhat unstable when going downhill Trail/tech terrain, because of the very narrow heel. The S/LAB Pulsar 3 Looks like it has gotten a wider heel sole than the previous models? Some sort of small «support wings» ish kind of construction? Could you tell me something about this? Do you have the previous model to measure/compare? Thank you!! 🙏🏻

Thankyou so much for the comment and supporting the channel! Unfortunately I’ve never used or tested the V1 or V2 pulsars so can’t say if things have changed/improved but I can say the stability/comfort in the heel shocked me the most 😍 .. it does look like the heel has been built out a little in design & coming down the tails heavily fatigued from running a 100 miles at a backyard ultra last week, I felt super supported throughout the gait cycle. Support in the heel and forefoot. For a full review (coming soon) I’ll dive into more details but I’m going to the mountains tomorrow morning to really test these out so stay tuned 🔥 🙏🏽

Ran 6 minutes per mile pace in these Pulsar 3's & it felt like nothing? Not bad for a heavily fatigued ultra-runner & it's definitely got me excited🔥These. Are. Fast. ⚡Stay tuned for the full review :)

How’s the outsole rubber compound? Is it soft/sticky? Is it comparable with vj’s butyl rubber or vibram megagrip?
@ActiveIdeas4 ай бұрын
It’s does feel soft and sticky to me! Although the older pulsars had a choice between soft trail and hard trail.. I would say this shot strikes a perfect balance between the two 🔥

is there required body weight to wear in s/lab pulsar 3? might damaged the shoe?
@ActiveIdeas2 ай бұрын
I doubt it.. I’m pretty heavy (5”7 78kg) for the size 9, they’ve been nothing but resilient

Hy, I've not well understood how wide is the shoe in the front. There's a lot of space for toes( as a running shoe i.e. Saucony Ride 17) or it's wrap the foot in a way more enveloping? Thanks🙏
@ActiveIdeas6 ай бұрын
The sock like wrap feels similar to a comfortably tight sock around the ankle and around the midfoot area. In the toe box.. for me (everyone is different), there was a a small amount of space to “breath”. I’m comparing this to other performance shoes which can feel too narrow, the Pulsar 3 strikes a good balance between performance and comfort (hard to put into words haha). Hope this helps 🙏🏽

What about wide feet? Can these shoes still be used for wide feet that exceed 1-2cm?
@ActiveIdeas5 ай бұрын
I would consider myself to have pretty wide feet. It’s forced me to size up on most Samolon models to a 9.5. But the Pulsar have a sock like technology which makes them soooo comfortable (don’t wanna take them off). Bearing in mind I train with Vibram-five-fingers and Altras theses Pulsar 3’s in a size 9!?!? have been SUPER comfortable. I would say most people with wide feet will enjoy these but just bear in mind, the fit will feel more performance than usual. I haven’t ran more than a marathon in these yet.. but would comfortably take them up to 50km 🙏🏽 Hope this helps ❤️
