First off, IF I ever get a text from a friend of mine for "HELP" and I can't get them on a phone to hear that they are safe, you can bet that my next move will be to call the police. I will not go down as that friend who didn't try to get help when one of my girls (or guys) needed it. Second, while the military attracts some truly well-intentioned, valiant young men and women who want to serve and/or make the country/world a better place, it also attracts some next-level, arrogant, control-freak, abuser types. I'm sure that's probably the way things go with any kind of position that awards its members with a level of authority over other people, but still. Third, It was so nice to get a new video today. Yesterday and today haven't been great, but getting to hear your lovely voice was such a pick-me-up. :)

While my husband never went, the guys talked about "clubs" in detail to the point where he might as well have been there. It's also normal for guys to "take care of" each others wives.
