There’s something called frontal lobe syndrome which is one something damages your frontal lobe and makes you aggressive and disinhibited… I’m a doctor and during my psych rotation I was caring for this patient who was in a car accident and had bleeding in his frontal lobe and would have bouts of agitation… they called me one day and he was full blown aggressive hitting his brother and insulting me, his mother was in shock she said he had a temper but never ever acted like that…I talked to him the day after and he was calm and apologetic and doesn’t even know why he was acting like that… makes you think

Hi👋 I have a question. When I was 1, i tripped and fell onto the sharp edge of a door. It split or cut my forehead. I was wondering if you'd know like what kind of effect that kind of injury would have on a baby. I'm 29 now and I still have the scar. I also have Asperger's, but that's probably hereditary bc my mom and grandmother also have it. And I have 2 learning disabilities (reading and math) Anyway, tysm for your time!🤗🤗🤗
@twistedbambi23703 жыл бұрын
@@VlatkaBasioli usually there is no cure and only limited treatment.
@twistedbambi23703 жыл бұрын
@@blueecho9792 there could be permanent damage, resulting in damage to the frontal lobe. Usually what we see with that kind of injury is struggling with impulse control in general leading to aggression, hypersexuality, violance etc. Traumatic brain injury in babies and toddlers has a higher chance of correcting itself over time. Neither autism nor your learning difficulties were caused by the accident. It is far more likely that one of them or both were caused by "bad" genetics.

I am 35 now, spent my teens in "the system" and passed around over 20 places. I ran away at 17 and only look back to understand myself better. If it helps at all, life can get so much better once you're in control of it. I have an awesome life now with a teenage daughter, an awesome car and place, studying a subject that I love. It's not much, but it really feels like a lot when you have had a hard life. I hope you can find confidence and peace long before I did. It took me a long time to realize that I didn't need my family or a traditional life to be "whole." Everything you need is inside you. Even if you have no one to support your dreams, I hope you follow them, they will guide you to your happiest life, no matter what anyone thinks or who is or isn't in your corner. Things can and will get better, they will be what you make them. I wish someone had told me that 20 years ago. I was surrounded by adults who didn't know what the right thing for me was and it confused me for a long time. Just because people are older than you doesn't mean they know what they are talking about, they are speaking from the perspective of their own limitations and even if they mean well they do not know what the world will become or what is best for you. I wish you a very happy life moving forward as you grow and that you reach all your goals. Most of all, I am sending you love. I remember how lonely I felt being moved around in my teens, not knowing where I was going to land or if things would be okay. You will be okay, I promise you. Everything will be okay. It will be great. You deserve the best and you will get it. I believe in you ❤

Confession: I've had to start listening to these with headphones because of my child who absorbs everything she hears. So now when I sing the theme song my whole family looks at me like I'm insane.

🤦🏻♀️ glad I’m not the only one singing the song….and talking about a true crime story that’s been “heavy on my noggin”! Lol

My kids are too young to listen to Bailey, but they definitely listen to her theme song come out of my mouth at random moments.
