Archbishop Vigano's case is very complicated not leasy like this ignorant told. VIgano is trying to escape acusations against him than his belief about the council and pope. And also Pope St John XXII by open doors meant for ecumenism and changes for the coming times. Still then most of Church large scale teaching was done in old means like using printed press while protestents and other groups and other movements like New Age movements were already made TV and Radio preaching by 1960s. The Council LITERALLY told to preserve litergical traditions and hymns for both Latin and Eastern churches in decree Oreientalium Ecclesiarum ( for East like Syro Malabar) and Concillium Sacramentum ( which primarly concerns Latins). Because of the unsupervised decisions by bishops like Cardinal Paracatil and others around the world next Pope, St Paul VI had lamented and said "From some fissure the smoke of Satan has entered the temple of God".

Definitely they have to follow. But 2nd Vatican council don't sanctify the people oriented holy mass it says all churches should catch up with traditions and unification please that's my knowledge which is very limited. 🙏

The 2nd Vatican council was not one meeting or one general body. Multiple committees made Multiple decisions, remedies and punishments without any coordination. It took nearly 5 years to put everything in writing. 600 new canonical laws were implemented and 600 punishments were also implemented for violations. In other words anyone can interpret things their own way which is exactly what is happening in EKAM.

What is the need of a Syro Malabar hierarchy if the church doesn’t have a distinct liturgy than a nearby Latin church? Vatican wants Syro Malabar church to follow its ancient east Syrian rite which it shares with ‘Ancient church of the East’ and also Chaldean Catholic Church. There are several such rites and 22 independent eastern Catholic Church in Catholic communion with Pope. Each having its own distinct liturgy. Vatican wants us to retain our original tradition and they are very clear about it. It makes the Catholic Church rich in diversity and opportunity for non catholics to join us without loosing their rite. God bless you

Pope St John XXIII meant it for needs of the time not for chaning entire tradition. In fact Vatican II told eastern churches to honour and restore their traditions and to stop latination of their traditions. EKAM please read decree Oreientalium Ecclesiarum ( for East like Syro Malabar) and Concillium Sacramentum ( which primarly concerns Latins) before making fool of yourself. By the way the Latin church is also in process of restoring ad orientem and its started around the world.

സീറോമലബാർ സഭയ്ക്ക് മാത്രമേ പാരമ്പര്യം ഉള്ളോ ബാക്കിയുള്ള സഭകൾ ഒന്നും എന്തുകൊണ്ടാ പാരമ്പര്യത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചു പോകാത്തത് അതായത് അൾത്താര അഭിമുഖ കുർബാന യിലേക്ക് രണ്ടാം വത്തിക്കാൻ കൗൺസിൽ വരെ അൾത്താര അഭിമുഖം മാത്രമല്ലേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ നല്ല മാറ്റങ്ങളെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളണം അല്ലാതെ പാരമ്പര്യം മാത്രം പിടിച്ചിരുന്നാൽ സഭ മുമ്പോട്ട് പോകില്ല

@@jills7243 എന്റെ ബ്രോ താങ്കൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന സഭ പൌരസ്ത്യ സഭ ആണെന് ബ്രോ യ്ക്ക് അറിയോ ലാറ്റിൻ സഭ പശ്ചാത്യ സഭയും. പിന്നെ കത്തോലിക്ക സഭയിൽ 24വക്തിഗത സഭകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നത് ആണെന് അറിയോ. അതിൽ സിറോ മലബാർ സഭ മാത്രം ആണ് പല രീതിയിൽ കുർബാന അർപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ബാക്കി ഉള്ള വക്തിഗത സഭകൾ ക്ക് എല്ലാം എല്ലായിടത്തും ഒരുപോലെ ആണ് ആരാധനക്രമം അനുഷ്ഠിയ്ക്കുന്നത്. സിറോ മലബാറിൽ എല്ലായിടത്തും അതുകൊണ്ട് ഒരുപോലെ ബലി അർപ്പിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്, തീരുമാനം എടുക്കുന്നത് അത്ര വലിയ തെറ്റായി തോനുന്നില്ല.. പിന്നെ ഇതു ഒരു സുപ്രഭാതത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞത് ഒന്നുമല്ല ല്ലോ.. വർഷങ്ങൾ ആയി പരി. കുർബാന യിൽ ഐക്യം, ഒരു ഒത്തൊരുമ എല്ലായിടത്തും കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാൽ സഭയോട് ഒപ്പം ചേർന്നു കരുതി ഒന്നും സംഭവിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നില്ല.
