Some of the B-roll footage was also used in 1943 Titanic, both films were directed by Herbert Selpin.

Bremen= Immense! That ship was huge! I noticed as the car was being lifted onto the ship that there was a walkway extending out over the Boat Deck and between lifeboats. That was a great idea in design. I wonder why it wasn't used on other ocean liners. I'm sure passengers would have enjoyed it and it could have been useful when docking a ship.

What is curious about this film clip is the lack of Nazi insignia or references (no Heil Hitler) greetings given the 1936 date of the film, the year of the Berlin Olympics. Could this film have been made in 1933?
