Well, today 2nd November 24 I decided to buy this pistol and made my way to Vector air. I was really surprised to see Andy behind the counter and he served me and tested the gun for me. Was a real pleasure meeting this airgun reviewing legend and got to shake his hand. Thank you Andy for selling me this gun twice, first from your great review then actually selling it to me in the shop. Awesome stuff.

@lowzofficiell7624Күн бұрын
@@jezzermeii Oh okay, I live in Sweden. We got pretty strict gun laws too but atleast we can get arms permits/licences and go to the range and shoot real guns. As long as you're not a convict that is. You have to get a new permit/license for each gun and as long as you have one you can get basically any semi-automatic pistol/rifle there is. Andy hope you don’t mind me making a suggestion. When carrying out your reviews you always cover FPS, power and accuracy tests. Could you not add on trigger weight pull tests for both SA and DA. I’m sure VA will have a suitable professional gauge. Many replica enthusiasts would appreciate this addition. From one of your critical commentators 😊
@AAROnair3 ай бұрын
@@CaptDAR I do have a pull gauge, ironically Vector Air has borrowed mine in the past, Occasionally i do include the pull weight, but I am mindful of the time restrictions of the video. I will often use it if the trigger feels exceptionally heavy, as will be evident in this weeks video. Stay safe.
@CaptDAR3 ай бұрын
@@AAROnair many thanks for your reply. My Competitor in DA ran the gauge out at 11.5 lbs so I suspect about 12 actual. Internals are being worked on as we type. Quality finish of the trigger mechanism parts is poor to say the least. Lots of polishing needed. Hope it’s worth it.

Hi Andy, this needs a full length rifled barrel as opposed to a 2.5" barrel followed by the rest of the barrel as a 6 mm spacer, Andy please start feeding this back, i dont expect pin point accuracy from these replicas but when i can use a catapult with more accuracy its a joke, the smooth bore version performs better than "rifled barrel" due to the self stabilizing nature of the diablo, please if you have any weight at all get them to stop doing this, i am refusing to buy from now on due to this, and i really wan one.

Umarex has pretty much abandoned the US replica handgun market . They poorly rolled out the S&W 29 in 8 3/8 in bb version only. They should have offered a short barrel 31/2 and the 6 1/2 inch rifled barrel versions, and maybe a 4 inch Highway Patrolman, and a 5 1/2,barrel 1917. But they didn’t band the S&W 29 is fading into oblivion. This model you are reviewing is no better. A big bore bb, blaster that should have been a 22. Typical Umarex. Maybe it will thrive in the European market, but I see little of interest here

Stay safe and shoot safe you say at the end of this rather poor review of this iconic revolver. You were using steel bbs which we all know are more than capable of coming right back at you. Why no ballistic glasses worn? This 6 shot revolver, yes 6 shots and not seven as you seem to think. Pulling on an empty cylinder is a beginner’s mistake. Just count correctly. Now this 6 shot revolver is produced by S&W’s Performance Centre of which you made no mention. You probably don’t know this as you never mentioned the removable barrel weights. Now I’ve owned one for several weeks now and the trigger in DA is terrible. Very very heavy. Is that why you took every single shot in SA? Im sure your watchers would have like to have seen you shooting in DA. After all it’s what a revolver is designed for in real steel use. As for referring to your free hand shooting which is a term used by the inexperienced. Proper term is “offhand” but you were using Weaver stance.
