I disagree. He needs to be posting cod content mainly progression focused videos. I don't want to hear him talking about anything but cod really. Now that cod has turned so shitty, maybe he shouldn't upload a video until the next cod comes out and even then wait until the first patch. He shouldn't post really anything but that. I'm like you where I'm a cod boomer; I've been with this series since b01, and have got every game since. I've been with this series through it's highs and it's lows, I've loved a few and hated a few, but I stuck by, either through a feeling of buyers commitment or just wanting to get my money's worth from the games. I'm generally a positive person in regards to games, I can find something fun to do in most. The recent CODs, since MW19, have made me seriously reconsider my view on this franchise as a whole. My favorite of the last 3 games has been cold war due entirely to it's zombies because it's felt like the last spark of true developer expression these games are allowed to have anymore. These new era COD games have made me feel so disillusioned with this series that I've grown up with, and my general dislike of the new games has made me question why I found these games fun in the first place, and it's hard for me to say exactly why. Was it the old map design? Was it because there was better progression? Was it because I was 13 and had friends who played the games with me? I don't know, it's probably all that and more. I think I am really done with this series, and it's so crushing for me to say that for games I loved to play for endless hours of my life. I appreciate you for making this video sour, because I feel what you're going through so much, and I think having it all just said by someone verbally has made me personally make the push to just stop with these games. I love your content, and I'll continue to watch because it's always a joy to see in my subscription inbox.

For me I know exactly what it was: the weapon handling and movement speeds, since MW, they’re straight up too slow and it just doesn’t feel good, on top of reducing the skill gap even more. MW19 was the first CoD to reduce SMG strafe speeds significantly, and ADS and sprint-out times are also very slow on average compared to in the past too. BO2 was the fastest of these in the entire series on average, and surprise surprise, it’s one of the most beloved games. I’m telling you, it’s a huge factor that people are overlooking constantly. There’s a reason LMGs were/are always so rarely used, they’re slow, and nobody wants to be slow. The problem is, now even SMGs and ARs are much slower than they used to be as well.

Yeah, that´s exactly the problem, people still think that being the "Developer" of a game, they can actively have an impact in "their" game, like it used to be. But that´s not the reality in this stock marked driven conglomerat that is Activision anymore. The reality unfortunaly is that the studio you used to love, be it IW, Treyarc or Blizzard or whatever, died when it got bought of by Activision. All the people there that made you falling in love with that studio and their games in the first place have been degrated to just exchangeable workforce and a sort of protective shield to the public, because they are the only ones you actually get to see or hear from, so they get all the shit thrown at them. But the people that are actually in control literally couldn´t care less about what you have to say, they won´t even know that you said anything in the first place. This is why so many of their decisions feel completely out of touch, it´s because they are. The people making the decisions are not gamers anymore like it used to be, their sole interest/purpose is to max out earnings and make numbers go up for their stockholders. The stockholders are their customers, not the people that actually play the game, so every decision they make will ALWAYS benefit them rather than us. That´s properly also what S0ur meant when he says that he feels like he´s not the targeted audience for them anymore, and he´s right, we aren´t anymore. Activision doesn´t care how passionate we are or for how many years we are loyal fans of a game, they only care about how much money we´re willing to waste on the game. And since we don´t spend any money or at least hardly any money on their in game purchases, we´re not really cared for anymore. I guess that´s what we get for wishing gaming to become more "mainstream" back in the days, welcome to modern day capitalism.... Maybe we get lucky and they get so fuckin greedy that they alienate such a huge chunk of the community, that they actually will feel a drop in income and dial it back a bit, but i feel like we´re so heavily in the minority that we just gotta accept that "gaming" in general has changed and is not what we used to love anymore...

which is why I can't understand some of my friends. the ones who actually give a shit about winning and losing, having a good KD, and genuinely skipping atomic because they'd know their KD would plummet trying to use a melee or launcher. and they know and often complain about the SBMM, which is the entire reason they can't get any consistent good games. *and* they're the same people who try and stick up for the game. like when I was trying to imply the game is dumb fun but doesn't stand out, one was like "see, I told you he'd admit to liking it." *AND* they literally haven't played it in weeks or months because they grinded so hard at the start that they want to play something else. so they don't know about incendiary grenades, the fucked up XP, the fucked up camo grind, this constant lagging that I've been having that makes the game close (and I mean *SO FUCKING CLOSE* ) to unplayable.

I'm over 50 and CoD is the only game that I have played anymore for the last 10 years. I used to be active on the old CoD forums that were lame, moved to Reddit, and always took my time with the game from a competitive standpoint. Every year I would get the mastery camos like Dark Matter, etc. and my goal as I got older was to complete them all with a positive K/D each year. The last few years have been an absolute joke and although the bugs were somewhat humorous, I always took them in stride and continued to play because "I LOVE HOW CoD FEELS". With this game, it feels like it was rushed (but we know it was not), it feels unpolished (because it is), and it feels like they only care about the money and retaining that money. There seems to be no effort in retaining their core player base that has been around forever. This video really sums up what makes CoD great and how they just don't get it anymore, or simply choose not to care at all.
@jbwolf98582 жыл бұрын
What's stood out for me over the years with your content, is your ability to discuss the niche areas of Cod which few players would bother or fully notice, and provide answers with suitable evidence to boot. Its made the most out of this bug-ridden game for me when I always loved completing mastery challenges in the most efficient way I can. The amount of times myself and friends noticed a problem with this cod in particular and thought "well that doesn't seem right" I can guarantee most of the time it would be picked up in a S0ur rant. At least we would know we aren't going crazy with a game that might have let us down in parts this time around. I would suggest only making content you enjoy, since that honesty in your videos is what I respect, even if that means waiting until the next Cod game for your next challenge tips videos!

Honestly, thank you so much for this vid. While I haven't purchased MW2019, CW, or VG (or have any interest in the CoD camo grind) you really explained my thoughts better than I could. I hopped back on the CoD train with WZ and was finally regaining interest in the franchise after losing it once BO3 came out. However, that excitement faded away around the end of MW's life and the CW integration into Warzone, and from my experience playing VG's free trials, I don't think I'll ever have any interest in the core multiplayer aspect again. The game didn't feel like it prioritized fun over player retention. The disbanding lobbies, SBMM/EOMM making it feel like I either carry my team or bring them down hard with me having basically 0 influence, the artificially inflated weapon level grind with more filler attachments and absurd XP values, the rotating playlists, lack of clear, faction specific playermodels like games before BO3, the smoke and screen shake, the completely random spawns with 0 logic resulting in frustrating deaths, terrible weapon balancing are all points I agree with you on. The only reason why I kept playing WZ during the CW integration and now the VG integration is to complete the battlepass, not for the fun of playing itself. As a matter of fact, the game has gotten so unfun and irritating, I just keep my character AFK in Plunder to grind out BP tiers with 0 effort while I play a game on my PS3 instead. If the only thing keeping me (and possibly other players) coming back is a progression bar that repeats every 50 days, then I think the devs failed at making a game. That's not even getting into the anti-consumer moves like artificially limiting XP earned, removing stacking XP tokens during 2x XP events in WZ for 4x XP, selling meta loadouts for guns in the store for $20 while keeping the equivalent gun's meta build behind a lengthy grind, only to nerf it and do it all over again (Grau, R9-0 dragon's breath, now the new Welgun). It just feels so manipulative at this point, and while I know I'm still responsible since I still play the game while not spending a penny on the past 3 titles or any bundles, it's just that I'm now paying with my time instead of my wallet, and as I grow older, my time is growing more precious than my wallet. I want to like the games again, but they're making it difficult. It's a real shame. Anyways, great video and insightful commentary, a rarity in the CoD community

you know what is the worst thing about this? that every single company out there is taking the cod approach after WZ success. Battlefield as an example. Before it was great, but now they have rotative playlist, they disband lobbies, don't have a scoreboard, they removed things everyone loved, etc. It's basically what CoD did. I don't think gaming will be like before, now investors are more important than the ones playing 24/7, so basically we need to quit gaming or play indie games instead, and find other things.

Great video and pretty much agree with the whole sentiments. Progression just died and it was by design. I saw this coming with MW 2019, they wanted to cater to the wide audience so they made you buy the game and then buy the "bells and whistles" afterwards. There's nothing to earn, no blueprints no challenge that's worth the effort, and just 1 mastery camo compared to the hundreds of bundles. Activisions' focus is the store and its art design. I guess they prove that you truly can polish 💩, the game sure "looks pretty".

What an amazing perspective, looking back on not just this game but also the previous few installments filled with disappointment and disaster. I too feel disenfranchised, and perhaps you're right, we as completionists might not be the target audience anymore. If anything, I feel like the term 'completionist' in CoD has turned into basically 'you have the mastery camo'. Where are the days where you had long-term, fun and engaging challenges to earn? Sure, some were pretty atrocious (looking at you, Ninja defuses and Ruin shutdown medals). But it was far more interesting to go and hunt for, to find weird and fun strategies instead of just having it be an artificially prolonged grind.

Super well spoken, you and BdobbinsFTW are like the two KZbinrs I have notifications on for, they’re that good. The perfect blend of useful and insightful and it really does bring to light some larger issues getting created with COD’s “cast a wide net” approach and their constant push to sell bundles. I remember in MW2019 when I would grind for the battle pass and I felt at times the progression would slow way down, and two years later low and behold. It’s been tested in MW2019 I’m sure, with things like which modes are best for battle pass xp and whatnot, but this is the only channel I’ve seen legitimately prove XP manipulation from a design standpoint and it’s crazy. I’ve also seen how buying bundles in COD puts you in lobbies with players with no bundles and lower skill. Different game technically, but it’s cod so, you know. Honestly I’d love to see videos where every season we see a recap of cod, like what broke, what got fixed, thoughts, stuff like that. I know some channels cover the patch notes like literally every week and that’s really dry but like an overall look into a season from the perspective you have would be fun as shit to watch, even if there really isn’t anything new happening. As long as you’re playing the game or any game really I will watch 100%. Even rants have good vibes so I’m all for recaps and thoughts or anything you could throw at me. Like this channel makes cod fun for me sometimes.

s0ur i appreciate the way you really just layed it all out on the table. I did the atomic grind and would’ve had it around 5 days but since it took them so long to fix I’m now over 9 days. The vibe I get from the handling of this game in particular is they don’t care, so why should we. I really enjoyed MW2019 personally because I played plenty of BF(before 2042) and siege so it really hit that perfect ratio to me, but I get that it isn’t a pure cod and other will hate it for that, fair. With vanguard it seems way to overly dumbed down. Like the seasonal challenge you accidentally complete. It’s getting to the point where the money extrapolation by activision is the only I can see with every idiotic move made in this game, and that deeply saddens me. I still remember your video “playing shipment until I get spawn behind someone” and it lasted all of 10 seconds because the first time you spawned you left. But you should know that I think a lot of people see more utility in your videos than just someone who can breakdown XP or layout a couple tips. You seems like a very genuine person, with clear intentions and share similar interests in games as many of us. That as a whole is probably as rare as a good cod game nowadays. GGs bud.
@metroidomelet30792 жыл бұрын
You echoed the exact reasons why I only play this game a few times a week. All the progression in Vanguard is so passive and manipulated to extend play time. I buy used copies of Cod now so I can sell them a few months later and Activision gets no money from me. I watched a lot of your progression videos from MW2019. I remember you gave some great tips on splatters with helicopters for a blueprint challenge. You had me loling at your attempts. BTW since you asked for feedback: not sure if you're interested in PvE only games like cod zombies, but there's a high quality FPS PvE only game upcoming (JAN 20th) & it's filled with lot of progression stuff, coming to to PC Game Pass ($1 the first month) & the game is called Rainbow Six Extraction, it's basically if cod split zombies from multiplayer but sold the zombies mode as a standalone version. Currently the game has no youtubers covering it or doing minmax guides, so maybe try it & post something if you like it to see if it has enough views, you could also do the same with other games & start experimenting till you find a niche, as an old school cod player I only play FPS games, but I went to PVE because PvP was too frustrating.

That is a topic that pulls a lot of interest in and can be tested in short bursts as new weapons are released. We will always be interested in knowing how different games / modes are impacting weapon XP and if there continues to be major inconsistency compared to expected values. But I also understand if you are not as inspired to do that kind of testing as much. Thank you for everything these last years :)

I'd love to see you get attention from an IW/Raven/etc. developer, and they talk you through all the actual XP logic. You've investigated so deeply over the past few years, and it would be so satisfying for someone to say "you were really close, but here's the actual code involved..." or something like that. Love you, brother!

36:38 I know you've mentioned this throughout many videos, but I'd be interested in a video that describes what the ideal S0ur COD game would be. If a brand new COD launched next year or the year after, what would it have to have to undo all of this negativity for you (and us)? Some ideas to mull over: Is it just the missing elements in the game that feel buggy like better spawn points on small maps and consistent XP tracking? Or does the game need to feel more complete like having a full zombies mode and/or Spec Ops mode? 100% ready to go at launch? Game modes with no killstreaks? How about offline weapon grinding against bots for annoying weapons? Maybe grinding guns within the campaign? Or throughout the season the campaign receives additional story missions that end up feeding it to the next game? I'm just curious what the ideal COD would be for you in one consolidated video. I'm pretty sour on the franchise myself after they intentionally or unintentionally broke MW for me (and I own the disc of it too) , so it will take quite a bit of goodwill on their part before I'm willing to consider buying anything they offer.

I came here for the in-depth info (back around WW2 or MW19, can't remember), stayed for your personality and for your way of viewing this franchise (and other topics) being very similar to mine. P.S. Watched until the end and it was not an absurd ramble, but a great introspection that you managed to put into proper words. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

I've really enjoyed your content. I stumbled across your channel when I was evaluating feasibility based on my skill level for the atomic camo, and you explained things really well and through a refreshing format that contrasts heavily with most of today's clickbait "like and subscribe" content creators. You gave me the tools to undertake the journey, and I'm almost finished with it. You provided a lot of great information that I've used and help set my expectations to a level that kept me from experiencing too much frustration with the grind. I even use the spreadsheet. I just wanted to extend my gratitude, for what it's worth. I've seen very little actionable information available for WZ on bullet drop, drag coefficients, game gravity and other basic mechanics for the sniper rifles that I've become accustomed to in the Battlefield universe, and it'd be cool to see you explore that area one day if you ever find the time. If that data's in the gunsmith, I haven't found it accessible enough to apply.

I'm one of the people that made it to the end of the video, so here's my reason for watching your videos. Hate to break it to you but I've quit COD after MW, absolutely loved the game, did everything, used all of your guides, big fan. Since then I've lost all interest in PLAYING COD, but I'm still interested in the game (I know that sounds weird). So that's where you come in: keeping me up to date on a game I once loved, not anymore, but am still very much interested in. I like the statistics behind the progression, the flaws of the game or some thought worthy design decisions. I pretty much watch all your videos, but in terms of COD: you keep me up to date on a love of the past, and I enjoy every second of it. Here, that's MY rant :)

Thanks for the vid. I have alot of the same complaints and don't play cod. Im a player that appreciates the progression of cod and the competitive side of PvP, however I no longer play cod for they have made it frustrating instead of fun. I haven't even bought vanguard but I love seeing you break down everything, it helps me consider if it's worth getting. I eventually got cold war. Got 11+ days in zombies and 0 seconds in multiplayer. If you did get too alienated from cod and choose to go else where what would you consider? A game I reckon you might enjoy is the borderlands franchise. If you like breaking down stuff you could spend forever doing that haha xD

Hey s0ur, I’ve been watching your channel probably since ww2 or bo4 and I want to just leave a comment to say how much I appreciate the content you make. I feel it’s rare for creators to not really care about all the superficial stuff that most KZbinrs care about, and just post about the niche your interested in. I am also a completionist in COD so I really enjoy seeing the hard work you put into these games. And I think the diminishing returns in terms of what each cod game provides these past few years is sad. I hope that you still stick around and post when you have something to post.

Apologies for the incoming essay. I enjoyed Vanguard quite a bit. More than I expected to at least. Put in 50 hours in the preseason, had a decent bit of fun, then I cashed in my chips and stopped playing right before Season 1 launched. I think that was probably the best way for me to enjoy the game. The game seems to have only gotten worse since Season 1 came out. If I started playing again, I know would just get annoyed at all the monetization and matchmaking and start hating the game like I did MW and CW. The killcam effects look horrible, and stuff like the annoying MVP system that clearly only exists to sell MTX just puts me off. It really does feel more like a store than a game sometimes. It just kills me to see what's happened to this franchise. Activision seems absolutely determined to throw their core fanbase in the trash for the sake of 5% more revenue. It just feels like the only thing that COD cares about any more is number of bundles sold, and nothing else matters. And I do not see that changing anytime soon. Thanks for making this video. I've felt super disenfranchised with COD the last few years, and these sorts of videos reassure me that I'm not insane for feeling this way. Other than that, feel free to make videos on other stuff if you feel like it, I'll be happy to watch just about whatever you make.

you did address this, but I did rly enjoy the video of you goofing around in SND going for bomb detonations. reminded me of old school vanoss and their squad going for stupid killcams or dumb challenges. I stopped playing midway through MW2019 and have gone back to bo4 for the last 2.5 years. crazy how I thought specialist spam was so game breaking during the bo4 life cycle but now I'll take it over the shells which are the recent releases. I did pick up cold war last month, only because it was on sale over the holiday period since Vanguard's release but I can't stand the MP, and play exclusively for zombies at this point. really frustrating to see the direction of the franchise, but I'm content with playing bo4 for MP for the foreseeable future until matches become too hard to find. and when that happens, I'll always have the singleplayer zombies experience that feels very timeless, particularly BO2/3 make the content you want to make sour, we will always be around to have a laugh with you

Hey S0ur, As a lurker and usual 'non-commenter', I just wanted to say that I love your content. I havent played CoD since BO2. This video really resonated with me, as I've been feeling much the same about COD and Vanguard in particular. I've actually been jumping back into Cold War MP some days, as I find I get a better connection and can actually enjoy myself. I don't know whether it's a tactic on Activisions side or just a side effect, but whenever SBMM decides I'm doing too well it moves me into lobbies where my connection suffers. As a result I can't be certain if I'm actually dying more as I'm up against better players or if they're simply getting the drop on me as my connection isn't keeping up. I've started referring to it as Server based match making. Not sure if others have this experience, but it along with the various other issues with game is leading to me playing a lot less, and I'm now taking a break until season 2 lands. Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this video, I really enjoy watching them, and look forward to seeing more in the future (whenever you're in the mood to of course)

Thanks. Yeah lmao, that was quite shocking, especially after I'd already been shot out of the tree earlier. I often used that spot for some sniper longshots, but once you die once, the jig is usually up for the rest of the game.

A sort of rambling retrospective on each of the cod games you've played would be cool to see. I've always liked listening to what you have to say about the current cod and it'd be interesting to hear if your opinions on past cods have changed since you've covered them. I would love to see you branch out, to play other games that you enjoy. I don't play CoD much anymore, but I enjoy your videos, and staying in the loop is also nice. I haven't played CoD much at all since MW 2019. I won't pretend that it was a finished or perfect game, but I loved the hell out of it. I still miss the OG menu music that they NEVER brought back for some reason. I just couldn't get into Cold War because it wasn't on the new engine so it felt kinda old to me, the game feel just felt... off, and they stopped taking the setting seriously SO QUICK. Like, I expect shitty, flashy cosmetics in CoD, but that's usually much later in it's life cycle. Vanguard was just... boring. Who the hell was asking for ANOTHER WW2 shooter? Ten attachments on weapons? That's just ridiculous, ESPECIALLY in said WW2 setting. No defined teams? In WW2?! Fuck that. On top of all the problems that seemed to carry over from MW's first few months, it just seemed lazy to me that they couldn't fix THE SAME ISSUES before launch. I really enjoy FPS games, but Call of Duty (and Battlefield, fuckin hell) have just lost the magic. That feeling that makes me keep coming back. I doubt I'll be buying CoD 2022. I've been burned 2 years in a row. That second time was because of hope. Because what I saw looked promising. I won't make that same mistake again. I don't know if I'll ever play a new CoD again, honestly. It all seems to go the same way, and the good times just aren't worth the bad times. And let's not forget the lawsuit Actvision is facing -_-

I appreciate the video Sour. I didn’t buy Vanguard, and I’m not optimistic about the direction of the series. Honestly I watched because I’m still hoping they will start to turn things around and you provide an honest opinion without all the unnecessary hate from the community or the bullshit from the developers. They have been making COD games for so many years now, and the fact that there are so many game breaking bugs, unbalanced items, and ridiculous changes such as the spawns or Krampus is insane to me and cannot be explained away by Covid restrictions, the complexities in making a game for all the live platforms, or just a mistake here and there. They are sneaking the pay to win in every single patch, whether it’s a blueprint that does increased damage, a skin that makes you invisible, a gun that’s just unbalanced that takes an annoying 15 game grind to get or is just later in a battle pass that is harder to grind (the grind doesn’t bother me as much as the principle). I am sad. Come play Halo with me your inner circle has moved on. The progression is just as bad if not worse, but at least the game is fun.

Since you asked about past CoDs I've redownloaded MW remastered, having fun with that, doubting I'll go for camos. May try to reach master prestige or whatever is enough MWR for me. I doubt there's much you can say about it though, at least on PS4 most lobbies are TDM. As an aside to something you mentioned towards the very tail end of the video, yeah the current state of Activision and all the lawsuits are the reason I didn't pick up Vanguard this year, mostly just curious what your thoughts were on it and I can't say I disagree with anything said. Look forward to the next video S0ur.
@durden81222 жыл бұрын
Well, I just watched the full video and it only felt like 10 minutes went by, I guess that is the soothing effect of S0ur's dulcet tones. I agree with all the points raised, but my favourite lol moment, literally, was the random spawn event in Shipment and knowing exactly what you meant - lol The things i hate most are the visibility, nade/chuckable spam, screen shake and disbanding lobbies. Admittedly I need to upgrade my TV, but with all the incendiary smoke, muzzle flash etc it is hard to see enemies. I think Das Haus is worse than shipment, as it is a dark map and I can't see down the long(ish) lanes and often pre-fire to be sure. The game badly needs a trophy system, especially in hardcore. There is no warning or counter to a gammon bomb - just death! The screen shake is totally over the top, bit like the audio in warzone, we don't need it to be so life-like we go deaf. The disbanding lobbies just wastes everyone's time and gets annoying as you watch a new lobby being searched for and the ping approaching 100ms! I've started backing out of a lot more games now, I like to win games and am fully prepared to take a few more deaths on B dom, but when the rest of my team are all camped at the back of the map I lose the will to bother. The objective play needs to be more heavily rewarded or we may as well only have TDM. Time for some positives, at least the packet burst and latency issues seem to have been fixed and I can throw the mortar disc a little easier, not too easy though. I had high hopes for this game after SHG;s WWII and the way the revamped it and listened to the community with the level 1000 and 24/7 shipment - the last good version of shipment. There is still time for SHG to turn it around... This is long enough now, so S0ur, I hope you continue putting out content no matter what it is and we'll continue to appreciate it. I personally enjoy the Gran Turismo grinds and have GT7 on pre-order for March. I will probably be sick of COD by then and be looking forward to that. Maybe do a poll of games/challenges you are thinking of and put it to the community. Failing that another QnA is always a winner ;)

I fully agree with basically everything you said. Devs being on vacation is not an excuse for releasing broken updates right before a holiday. Yes, they are people too. But they’re still responsible for the game. I’m a software dev myself and if I released a broken update before holiday I’d be expected to fix it. It very clearly feels like they’re focusing fully on metrics and player numbers, not player experience or retention. The players all spawning in the same area feels like an default case that’s never supposed to be reached being hit every single game. Not sure what criteria they use for spawns but it seems like at some point it craps the bed and just sends everyone to a default spawn location. I don’t think weapon XP being throttled is an accident or a bug. I think them adding in throttling complicated their XP logic and causes unintended side effects. Adding in weaponXP*2.0 isn’t exactly difficult. If they had cosmetics that looked cool and like the designers put effort into them and the game was enjoyable and transport, I’d happily buy cosmetics. As of now, I won’t buy anything besides the battle pass. And that’s only because it’s free from previous BP’s. This is only my 2nd COD (MW19 was first, had Damascus) and I’m already sick of this behavior and push for play time and not player enjoyment.

It's a difficult situation because of how much COD has declined. All of my friends, including the one who introduced me to your channel, have quit COD. It's such a mess. Multiplayer has gone in a direction completely opposite of my playstyle so i cant even attempt to play MP in any of the recent COD games. Zombies in CW has been completely abandoned even though it's still very much broken and Vanguard Zombies is...well, i dont think i need to elaborate on that. Ive spent thousands and thousands of hours of my life playing COD zombies and for the first time, i dont care what's next. It's beyond saving at this point. I usually keep your videos on for background entertainment while grinding something mindless. Youve definitely been informative enough to make sure i dont waste money on this Pre-alpha of a "game" Vanguard, and youve helped my friends and I a lot with your videos. Its fascinating how much effort they put into systems meant to incentivize time played, i.e., SBMM, XP throttling, etc., which makes it feel like there is a serious problem with the priorities of developers of AAA games like this. Monetization is key in games nowadays, which is just a slippery slope of constant player manipulation. I wonder when this bubble will burst because it is frustrating as hell.
