He knows his math. 2/1 on a 3-4/1 I didn’t pay attention enough, even for a atv winch is a whoooooole lot of pull. With a 10-12k it’s over 30. And that’s over 200% of that pull.

They had every right to be upset they call their insurance company explain what happen and then we show up in the worlds smallest recovery rig known to man On average No possible way the jeep was going to do that So they were very concerned and rightly so Not many people can do what we do We have seen a lot of wrecker completing bigger trucks fail and winch outs and call in the super big rigs The point was we stayed calm explained to them that we will get it out and not to worry And turned a bad situation into a good one

Man oh man, when I 1st saw the camper framed out, my 1st thought was add 4 hurricane tie downs and call it done! Evidently this guy hasn't checked out your channel!

Nope he never heard of us, definitely was a happy camper 😎 when we were done and checked out some other jobs and stuff we did and gave us a 5 star review threw his insurance company We don’t get upset when people have little faith in our abilities Not many people out here doing more with less It’s a competition for biggest most expensive trucks in our area Which also comes with the highest service bill too

@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC I ran a wrecker in Lakeland, FL on my days off. For me, I didn't have a lot of time to do elaborate rigging. I had two 24K Ramsey's and ground spikes on my wheel lift. There wasn't much I couldn't winch out.

There was a guy and his kid buried to the frame in the field across the street. He went in past signs that said no vehicles past this point. I used a strap, chain , snatch block with a come along to get him out anchored to a tree with a soft strap. He told his kid this will never work. I pulled him out in a few minutes and he beeps every time he comes by.

Good deal man. I pulled a semi out with my wrangler one time he was just stuck on some slippery hard packed snow and ice. Everyone told me it wouldnt work. 5 minutes later hes back in the parking lot. Go figure. People dont understand every recovery is a little different.

I know it was about a year ago But I probably know what's going on with the head lights The weight of the camper is bringing up the front end up out of focus.. Readjust the head lights

nice camper/dodge recovery, ive always said i can pull anybody out up to 50k lbs they look at my jeep nothing special its a 2dr jk, with a 10k winch on a 12k winch plate. using snatch blocks is the easyist way. 2,3,4... what every it takes. as long as there's good ankors.✌

That's why you don't send people like that to resolve any logical issue. It's what's in the back of the Jeep (equipment), the front and rear of the Jeep (winches), available to the tow-company driver (trees) and what's between the tow-truck driver's ears (knowledge and experience). Best to shut-up, stand back and let the man do his job.

Fell in a septic tank, now they have to fix that too. Just rewire the harness at the bulb, shouldn't be that hard. Not the right way to fix it but it would work, obviously not under warranty.

Jeep was holding roughly 4,000 lbs So simple terms we have 16,000lbs of realistic pulling force on the camper truck

@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC No, I was talking about the guy next to the bridge buried to the frame in mud. Seems like you have been there before. As for the camper, nobody understands mechanical advantage anymore with winch and pulleys. I remember hearing an Army Engineer friend explain how they pulled out a Humvee buried to the frame in mud, by hand using this method. I'm glad you have mastered that technique. Did you anchor your Jeep? You didn't show that part.

@@RealJeep no we do not like anchoring the jeep. By not doing so we know our limits We have tested the jeep numerous times naked and know when it slides (Around 4500 lbs) With scotch blocks down it slides around 7500 lbs The workin load limits of the cable is 8000 So by not anchoring the jeep allows us to know we are around 50 percent of the safe limit And if we need to we can add the scotch blocks And then it will slide just shy of the safe limit Anything after that is overloaded and unsafe By tieing the rear of the jeep you do not know what your pulling

Crapppy pull? lol on the camper job you said you would need about 12000 pounds pull. If so is the load on each of the parts 12000 or 12000 decided by 4?

Total required pull divided by the number of lines will get you the line tension Line tension is also the same as winch output For example if we need 12,000 to pull the camper and we ran a 4 part system Winch output and line tension would be 3,000

I know the answer to that go and buy a real truck like a CHEVY and you won't have that problem 🤣. No it's a real problem and had to do it. But go to any ford dealer and they can help you
