I used to do the same thing with the old man's car when I was little. Back it down the driveway then pull it back up. It was a lot more fun back then.

Great boat, looks amazing, who knew twin twelves could be quieter than a V-8. Can't wait to see more videos.
@johnleake7083 жыл бұрын
My experience is that compression ratio makes the biggest difference in exhaust noise and that engine seems to have relatively mild compression compared to engines I have worked on (12:5:1 with a supercharger)

Kudos to the Boom Operator, he put that ship in the water without so little of a ripple in the water, he's done that a few times.

What a beautiful piece of art. The sound of those engines was something else. Would have liked to have seen a higher speed run but I’m guessing there are limitations on the river.👍👍

Beautiful boat. Gives me goose bumps listening to it run. That’s 100 mph boat no doubt. Wonder if the original builder put a little seat in front of the big on to put his balls in. It would take a big pair to let this beast feast.

Really? Two v-12 Allison engines in a 6 meter boat? How much faster can that make you? Usually one of these motors is sufficient in an old hydroplane
@brandonodwyer46915 жыл бұрын
It needs the twin twelves just to haul around the fuel cell. Lol. Beautiful machine.
@donaldmoser2123 жыл бұрын
If that was my boat, I would rely on straps under the hull to lift the boat rather than four deck cleats/rings. That's a lot of weight.

Beautifully built boat.. Great RR Meteor V12 engines, but you wasted half the video- clip showing it being launched.. onto a river with probably a 10 kmh speed restriction..[to prevent river-bank erosion] PLEASE re-launch it into a decent lake and open up those engines.. Let us hear them on full song! This video was a disappointment to me for those reasons only..

Leonard Miller yea, she probably goes through a lot of fuel... Racing boats do that... But what's the point in having a race boat if you aren't going to open her up and let her stretch her legs? Its like having a F-1 car or a NASCAR stock car and only letting it go from STOP to 20 KPH and back to STOP again....
