I always appreciate when someone engineers a correction the way the original engineers should have done in the first. I imagine there would be no door hinge repair vids if they came from the factory this way.

Well, to be honest, Generous Motors had a pretty good design. It lasted more than 20 years, and wouldn't have needed such a drastic measure had the rig been taken care of.

All you had to do was buy the replacement pins. They came with new bushings and it would of fixed your issue. The reason it was wobbly was because it was missing the bushings.

Did you watch the vid? The holes were walled out .060 bigger than the od of a new bushing.

What a great video...WHF is out of bounds and lost...if the hinges are bent..you can throw bushings at it all day!!! your skills tell me that you could restore an R code..Ford product!!! I did not name a car but you can figure it out and bang! i had a 1970 Tb ird..429/11.1 compression..180 tstat/205 in he winter...ask me how

Way to much work when you can replace pins and bushings for $25 in about an hour
