@@heretic124 when I'm on mobile data, the battery usually lasts me 3 or 4 hours on heavy use. When on wifi, 5 or 6. The battery can be quite inconsistent but I always have a power bank with me so I don't really worry all that much.

Good video Man!!! But I'll keep my Note 9. The S10PLUS is not really 6.4inch because you have to discount that portion of the screen taken but that unnecessary pill shaped cutout and if you hide it then you get a black bar which is almost as twice as the top bezel on Note 9 and go down to 6-6.1inch. Note 9 has clean and clear 6.4inch I don't mind the top and bottom bezels.

@@MayitoTek Yes, it is nickpicking and obviously not much but it's there taking a small portion of the screen. It's approx 5mm wide - 12mm long. I'm guessing it reduces the screen real estate to 6.3inch-6.25inch. I'll ask any of my maths expert friends.

Great review. I sold my Note 9 for the S10 Plus and I agree that the 'feel in the hand' is definitely better with the S10 Plus. And since I have no use for the SPen I do not really miss the Note. I think I'll hold on to the S10 for a long time before I upgrade again.

Did you miss the LED, more secure face Unlock and were you able to get used to the Hole punch in the screen?

Hi Gilbert , I know the LED is a hot topic for many users as I have noticed in the Facebook groups, but I never use it or pay attention to it so it was not a miss for me . I was actually using the face unlock initially when I could not get used to the onscreen fingerprint reader and it worked pretty well. I am not sure if is the same or less secure compare to the Note 9 . The punch on the screen is not as bad as I imagined, I guess I just got used to it . Overall the screen does look nice having and almost bezel-less screen , something that I feel compensates for the punch

I'm getting a Note 9. I had mentioned in a comment in an older video that my Note 4 is having touchscreen issues and an upgrade has become a necessity. After considering the S9+ vs the Note 9, I've decided on the Note 9. I'm not even tempted by the S10+, partly because of the intrusion of the camera lens in the screen. I'm not a big user of the pen, but I want it just in case.

However, I do like the larger battery, storage, and size difference of the Note 9 compare to the S9 plus, which is why I've decided on the Note even though I'll seldom, if ever, use the s-pen.

I upgraded from the note 9 to the s10 plus. The biggest thing I noticed was the smoothness in the S10 over the note9. The UI is noticeably more smooth overall while scrolling, flipping through photos etc. The note wasn't slow or laggy but the S10 has that "buttery" feeling akin to Pixels and iPhones.

@@jimh2061 S10+ has a brighter screen . When it comes to watching videos on KZbin , Amazon etc the picture is far better on the note 9 in my opinion. The S10+ seems more like a LCD display at times, and a step backwards. Battery life is better on the note 9. Sound is good on both. Out the two I would sell my S10÷ before my note 9.

Great straight to the point comparison. It does seem an upgrade on a phone is a tough pill to swallow 6 months after someone just get a new phone. The newer phone will generally always be better than the older one, it's just a matter of the "is it worth it factor." I think it was great advice especially for avid Note lovers to skip the S10+ and go to the Note 10. 😎

@@mdrahman6732 best spen feature is remote camera and other remote functions. Rest I love to draw things and have artistic edits over photos etc so its helpful. Good to jot down notes in a hurry without even unlocking the phone and screen. Much more.

The only phone I buy nowadays is a Galaxy Note. I'm using the Note 9. Will add the Note 10. Had Galaxy S2 to S5 then bought my first Note-the Note 4. Have never really wanted anything else but a Note since then. The S Pen sets it apart from all other phones.

No, don't bother. I have both. Screen isn't as good for video, note 9 boots up faster and unless you run about 10 apps at once, there is hardly any performance differences. S10+ is a lot lighter though.

Just found your channel and video. However, I prefer the "square" form factor of Note 8 & 9 rather than rounded/oval shape of S series, in display fingerprint scanner doesn't make any sense to consider the S10 plus. Hell, yeah..., the cutout or a hole on the display, it's annoying but far better than a notch..I love Note series... FYI : You've got a subscriber 😉

Hi Devi , I started using the Iris scanner since it was released on the note 7. I find that the face recognition is much faster than the Iris Scanner. I know is probably less secure, but having to unlock my phone alot of times through out the day , the iris scanner was not my prefer choice,

hi , yes it is the Dome.. I installed it when I got the note 9 and is still holding pretty good. I never use screen protectors, this is the first one that have used for so long . It is expensive, but one of the best in my opinion

That S pen makes the phone a heavy weight champ, plus why does everyone try and compare the S10 against the note line. They are two separate phone classes. Compare that s9+. That's like comparing my note against a tablet or something

Hi , if you dont mind for the Spen , I think you will like the S10 plus better.. or maybe wait a few months for the Note 10 to come out .. N9 and S10+ will drop in price.. or just go for the N10 .. wait a few more months ( I assume Note 10 will be released around August )

A week ago i tested both phone side by side and i bought note 9 for some reasons first on screen fingerprints are in first generations and i prefer capacitive one behind the note 9 and this is the reason i will not switch to note 10 even, secound this tiny bezels on note 9 are much better than hole punchs on s10 devises and maybe note 10 wil have that holes. Note 10 will arrive in 2 sizes, one bigar than note 9 and another smaller. This acctual size of note 9 is the best and this is another reason for not waiting note 10. New techs like on screen fingerprint on screen cameras on screen earphones are on first generations and i prefer this old school note 9 untill they came reliable.

I'm also in the same situation although I got the S10 plus I do want to go back to the note 9 is basically the same phone but I prefer all the points u made with the fingerprint being better the use of the iris scanner I think it's much better than the face unlock and the on screen fingerprint to me is horrendous

I had all the galaxy series but now the note series I’m still on the note 5 useable yes dependable he’ll no lol I be upgrading next year by Xmas to either pixel 2 Xl or 3 xl. If the note 10 don’t have many great features by that time I just buy a refurbished note 9 or used

Many people who want to have the latest and cant afford the latest phone will start hatting on many other that do upgrade every year . I am assuming that you have the sd variants. I heard that the exynos 9820 is lame compared to the 855. Actually in real life it seems there is even minimal difference in performance between the 9810 and the 9820. Do you have any info on the latter? Thx and welcome back.

yes, both of the phones have snapdragon . I am not really sure how well the exynos are doing . Overall from past versions of the Note phones people have mentioned many times that the exynos performs better compare to the Snapdragon version

I love my note 9 I play games I have like 30 thousand applications on my phone I'm on the phone 24/7 this phone never lags I never felt my phone overheat I play games with Savage graphics and the phone handles those graphics like no other phone so if I'm playing a game I'm going to feel uncomfortable with the freaking hole on the corner of the phone is going to catch my eye constantly and for games is just ridiculous I stay with my note 9 until I can get the OnePlus 7 Pro

Note 9 snapdragon to S10+ Exynos is really not worth upgrading at all, feels like a downgrade in performance, snapdragon is way more solid.
