I believe UNIFY uses multicores of processing unlike other synths and samplers on the market. At least, I've found it VERY CPU friendly and use it even in genres like trance and EDM. Another strength is that you can put Vital, Phaseplant and other synths right in Unify as layers. Love it, Chris, thanks for the walkthru. Who has more fun than you!? 😉

I was just thinking to myself when seeing those giant patches with all the nested layers and stuff...thinking "like, that HAS TO BE using a ton of cpu!" lol. Like, only 2 or 3 patches like that could possibly suck up all available resources right there. So you're saying it's not that bad?

@@EricJohnson-fh8zj YES! Unify uses all your CPU's cores to my understanding, and my last project used 4 separate tracks of UNIFY and each of those had several instances of multiple layers inside. I've even used Unify inside Unify. INCEPTION!!

Considering getting Unity but can't get Behemoth and Unity at the same time, not in my budget. That said, any chance you could do a walkthrough using some of the vast libraries in EastWest? I don't think I've really seen you cover their VSTs but I feel like Forbidden Planet in particular could be perfect.
