OMG!! I was at Costco this evening, and they had the individually packaged cheddar cheese "Kraft Mac & Cheese Microwavable Dinners" and they were only 500mg Sodium (not 690mg like in my grocery store) and 40g Carbs (not 30g Carbs). Apparently Kraft makes 2 different varieties of the individual bowls, "Regular" and "Deluxe". So… if you like cheddar cheese mac & cheese, read the labels and choose the one that fits your nutrition goals.🧀

Sometime I am overwhelmed with what to eat I wanted to taste good and sometime the time is just not there thank you for all your hard work. I AM OWN NUTRISYSTEM & I want to maintain the eating systen.

Any tips for someone to make better decision for lunch for someone who is on the road all day? Stopping for lunch is like a break during the day but kills a diet

Hi Chris! If your grocery story is like mine, they have pre-made, pre-packaged healthy choices in the refrigerated section across from the Deli. Also Whole Foods always has the hot food buffet area with freshly cooked items (chicken/beef/fish, vegan protein, grains, veggies, soups, etc.)- you fill the To-Go container & pay-by-weight at the checkout line (remember to get your utensils on the way out). Or you could pack a cooler with a sandwich, fruit, yogurt, trail mix, protein bar, or leftovers from yesterday's dinner...

Hey my dietician pal! Okay i bought a sample of nutrisystem frozen food on Amazon and i stocked up on grocery store food too! I am going to do 1500 cal a day, three meals and 3 snacks. Also at least 4 servings of vegetables and 1 or 2 fruits. Sound good?? Oh and plenty of h2o too

Joe!! Dude!! Sounds like you have an excellent plan!! Remember to take at least 20 minutes to eat a meal because it takes the stomach 20 minutes to realize there's food in there. If you are still hungry AFTER 20 minutes passes, you can either grab more vegetables, drink coffee/tea/any sugar free drink, and/or add a fiber supplement to bulk up the contents in your stomach (BUT if you take any medications ALWAYS check with your pharmacist to find out which fiber supplements will not interfere with your medications). You are on the road to victory!!🏆 You Got This!!

RE sodium I had a friend who was eating prepared dinners and it was 33% sodium I said to him lay three of them out and consider 1 of them is just sodium NOT food .. i always look at that % now .. insane

if you have 3 meals, each with 33% sodium…. 1 meal would not be thought of as "just sodium" (one meal would be thought of as 2,300mg sodium which is the limit for the day) because….. If a prepared dinner lists 33% sodium on the label, that means it contains 33% of your sodium limit for the day. Those %s on the label are Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs) which are maximum nutrient allowances for the day, based on someone consuming 2,000 CALORIES/DAY. The RDA for sodium is 2,300mg per day. Therefore, the prepared dinner at 33% sodium, contained 767mg sodium…. which is 33% of the recommended sodium for the day. The meal itself is not comprised of 33% sodium…the meal simply contains 33% of your sodium limit for the day (as established by the Food and Nutrition Board).
