I’m glad you’re back! Thanks for the podcast. I’ve only knit the DRK everyday socks so far, and definitely recommend. I love Andrea’s tutorials and so many of her patterns.

So good to see you. I was beginning to worry about you. I need to see this blue yarn you ended up with. Glad you made it to Artful Ewe.

I've definitely missed you in this space and so happy to see/hear you today! That shawl is exquisite and I'm totally in love with your DRK Everyday, which has a handspun quality due to the variation of wool. I recently discovered Lavender Lune at Flock and it is truly special. xoxo

Welcome back! We all need time off once in a while! Funny, my husband is at Lowe's right now buying a new lawn mower because ours broke after 40+ years of good service! Love the shawl!!

😆 40 years…… that’s a VERY impressive lawn mower. Practically a member of the family! Thanks for hanging with me!

I’ve made the DRK Everyday Socks multiple times. They’re fun, fit well, and the fleegle heel is amazing. Beware, they look very odd while you’re knitting but it all works out. 😂

Hi, this is the first time catching your podcast and I really like how much detail you give, and your experience knitting your projects. I too knit the DRK Everyday sweater and at the time I was a newer knitter so ordered exactly the same colour and wool required from her specs. I absolutely love how it fits me and immediately made me an Andrea fan 🎉it is still my favourite one mostly because of the fit and it feels like a comfy sweatshirt. You’ll probably get a lot of wear with the shawl even though it is heavier than you anticipated- it looks very cozy.

Thanks for watching, Wendy, and Welcome!! I equally loved the original yarn from the pattern. If I hadn’t already had this in stash, I would probably have done the exact same thing!!

Glad to see you again! My favorite Andrea Mowry sweater is Wool and Honey. I knit it in the exact same color and yarn she used for the design and I love it!

I hid Ranunculus in my Ravelry years ago so I wouldn’t have to see it every day. Drove me crazy how it looked so sloppy, droopy and ill-fitting on almost everyone. One size DOES NOT fit all. However, I’ve seen a few knitters recently do a wonderful job with gauge swatches and yarn choices to get it to fit well. It looks great on you. Good job!

I always enjoy your podcasts..so glad you are back! Reading and knitting are 2 of my passions.

Hi Lucille!! I definitely think I need better balance between the two. I’ve been all in on the knitting for so long. Bringing the reading back in has been fun!

Love your DRK Everyday sweater! I started it and enjoyed it very much, but the increases on the yoke were visible. What increases did you use? Wondering if I hold a Suri alpaca with my yarn that may help hide the increases a little? 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you!
@Knitweekend2 ай бұрын
Hi!! I used M1L. I think you’re right that it’s the yarn choice. Anything SW or very round and even will show the increases more. I’d consider using something woolen spun or a loose 2-3 ply. I think the original yarn for the pattern might even be marled slightly which would help make that less noticeable too.
