Obio I have to say that you consistently bring good discourse. I find a lot of LGBT content creators fall into the laziness of one dimensional conversations about gender roles and who's a top and who's a bottom and other elementary things, but you always provide a variety of perspectives and topics and there is usually a gem or a nugget to be found. I especially love that this is coming from a black gay content creator. Let's celebrate that - keep up the good work. I find myself thinking where is he finding these people, where are they hiding?

@@xamanbro826 Im not. Its basic biology. Some people are brown, some people are pale. There are genetic and biological differences from one ancestral group to another. Now, does that mean we should treat others inherently better or worse? No. Does that mean some groups are inferior to others? No. Does different = bad? No! But to say race is a social construct is just incredible naive not to mention objectively false. Now, how people are treated based on race, racial and ethnic cultures and traditions, etc. yes, THAT is social construct, but race itself is not socially constructed.

@@gamer1X12 Hey! So i think i understand what your trying to say but here's a different perspective. There are more sure differences among the races, as you mentioned with skin complexion. It would be naive to say it doesn't. Those differences happened for a reason. Africans tended to live in more humid areas and had wider nostrils and Europeans tended to live in arid, cold, dry climates and had smaller nostrils. So don't get me wrong there a CLEAR physiological variations among the races, and even the races themselves. However, the concept of race was created within the last hundred years to create an explanation for racist ideologies. For example, in the late 1800's American Paleontologists would lften draw the skulls of human beings. Normal right? However, they'd draw the white skulls larger than the black, asian, and native American skulls. This was a subliminal message of whites having bigger brains. So while yes there are differences, the concept of race ITSELF was made up to justify anything and everything that was to blame for mass atrocities. Additional, like you said, racism is still a real thing even if rave isn't real. Thanks!

I'm transsexual but still wear men clothes. People assume they're women's clothes. I also haven't had and procedures. Still grow facial hair, although I hate it. I've been on hormones for 4 years. Some people assume correctly and can tell I'm trans. Others who don't know will say whatever. Sir, him, he, she. Sometimes people intentionally say sir. I don't get mad, because it is what it is. However I don't like when people are intentionally rude. Some people think I'm lesbian. I get hit on by all kinds of men, st8, gay, bi and trans attracted.

@@yaboysix You can look them up yourself. There’s Caitlin Jenner in her 70s. Chaz Bono is in his 50s. Laverne Cox is 50. Marsha P. Johnson (suspicious death). Wachowski sisters (50s). There’s more. You have to remember that trans people don’t live as long due to bullying, discrimination and harassment. The ones that are elderly aren’t on social media just like any other elderly folks. Additionally LGBTQ+ people aren’t always open on Social Media because as you may have heard from celebrities, once they’ve come out, they lose roles. Most are working behind the cameras now. As I’ve said earlier, you may be around people that are trans and not know it because they don’t look like they’ve transitioned. Here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transgender_people. Remember not everyone is on Social Media. My mother and father aren’t on any social media. KZbin is my only SM and I’m in my 30s.

Also I hope the LGBT+ (ie sex/sexual minorities) stick together. We already have enough division (not unlike the black community), we don't need additional division. The “T”was added because trans people felt left out of “LGB” and demanded inclusion. I believe coming out is informing people of an aspect of your humanity that may otherwise be unknown or assumed. It is neither asking for permission or consent to be who you are.
