ive refused to even use my joycons tbh. ive used a knock off amazon pro controller for years and even though it rattles like a baby toy when i shake it, it works very well... i just refuse to pay nintendo prices for controllers i know dont work properly.

Was that a PowerA controller? If so then yeah I just got a new controller for a game I'm trying to practice more competitively, and I think my Y button is broken now after like probably only 2 weeks because I might've been practicing too hard with it unfortunately. When I get a new controller, it just feels like a gamble between this might last for like a month if you're unlucky or like my last controller I had, it could last you up to a year. I was sad when my Pikachu controller I had broke, I used that for hardcore practice most of the time and it still managed to last for a year. I'll always hold that controller dearly to my heart, but it's kind of annoying I hope Nintendo fixes the third-party controller issues in the next console.
