Ten hours of riding in sand and washboard across a desert, especially aboard a pure street bike, has to be extremely exhausting. 'Glad you made it without running out of fuel. Smooth asphalt makes for a happy Bee (and a shared hotel room for a happy, tired traveler).
@alyoka.travels3 ай бұрын
I didn’t quite plan it like that but it ended up as the ultimate challenge day 😅 Happy we made it! Grateful to the Bee for bearing with me. And endlessly grateful to Tilyek for offering me his hotel room floor space. Feeling blessed 🥰

Sand is counterintuitive and requires some practice. But once you figure it out, it can be quite fun 👌 even on a Hornet 😁

Wow, extremely difficult to ride so many hours alone in that desert. You are quite courageous and you were able to overcome this desert with the best mood possible. Sorry to ask you one personal thing. I will be in Russia, perhaps the last week of August.My wife says that my credit cards will not work there (I will travel alone). Stupid sanctions that affect you, but also all that want to visit Russia. I despise them😬If true, what is better?: Euros or Dollars? Good weekend... in Mongolia 😂 Greetings from Portugal
@MotorbreathChannel3 ай бұрын
If I will be allowed to chime in. From what I understand after watching many videos of people travelling in Russia in the last couple of years, dollars are more preferable and some say that Russian banks will only accept very clean banknotes - no tears, no tape etc. Once you've entered the country, you can visit any bank and exchange it for rubles; you can also open a Russian MIR system debit card there without any documents besides your foreign passport, put your money on the card and use it freely. You can pay with the card almost everywhere - at least in the bigger cities that you are most likely to visit anyway but you can always keep some cash on you if you are not sure. ATMs and banks are not that difficult to find. I hope that it helps and that you will have the best possible experience travelling in our country.
@АлексейБыстрицкий-ю2э3 ай бұрын
Hello from Russia! No difference, but still better dollars than euros.
@novreis19523 ай бұрын
@MotorbreathChannel , very helpful your answer. Yes, I will be at Moscow, St. Petersburg and perhaps Vladimir., so the card will be useful. ,Спасибо
@novreis19523 ай бұрын
@user-if1dc5sk8z , thank you, but once I can use the Russian card. I prefer Euros, so there is no need to touch dirty money😉 Thanks
@MotorbreathChannel3 ай бұрын
@@novreis1952 You're welcome. I have almost forgotten to say that you will need a Russian SIM-card to open a debit card, so get it first - will probably save you some time.
