I didn't hear much about them until I started reading about some overseas users and how much they loved it. After doing a ton of research it really did seem to be an incredible value for all of the features it comes with out of the box. Super excited to try it out 👍

Glad to see another episode! Happy 2020 man! You're deep in the project now haha. I've always thought wheel bolts looked annoying, I'd probably change those too if I had them.

happy new yr my dude! haha seriously, no turning back now. they are super annoying, and since the studs are M12 I can run a wide variety of lugnuts now (fan of mutekis).

What bumper is om it. Because i am going to fit a bigger intercooler.

Right now I have the oem NA URS4 bumper, which is a lot deeper than the Euro version because of the crash standards. Fitting a larger intercooler wasn't an issue w/ this bumper. However, I would love a euro or RS style replacement in the future - at that point I guess i'd have to worry about it hah.

Does the maxxecu work with the factory Audi crank trigger? I'm looking into standalone ecus for my Audi and can't make up my mind haha

Yes it does! That was definitely one of my considerations. So far I'm really loving the MaxxECU, between the build quality, included flying lead harness and the software itself. I know that feeling though, went back and forth for a while. Which ECUs are you considering?

@@supercarmio Great to hear! The price is a little high, but I'm looking at either VEMS, Ecu Masters, or MS3. Probably going to stay away from megasquirt though.

@@donovanhandley7936 I was looking at the exact same options! Yeah, what turned me off MS was the lack of documentation in regard to the trigger - seemed like it was a feature still in development/testing. I'm super curious about ECU Masters - seems like it comes with a ton of features for the price. Would love to know what you end up going with. 👍

@@supercarmio I'll definitely report back! It might be a little while before I pull the trigger haha. Gonna buy rods, turbo, injectors, manifold etc. first
