Democrats have gotten lucky in the past two midterm elections in AG races. In 2018 Democrats flipped WI, MI, CO, and NV and in 2022 held all of those and flipped AZ. The SOS races had a similar experience with Democrats winning WI, MI, CO, and AZ in 2018 than getting NV in 2022 holding all the previous states. And with Trump and the GOP denying the results of the 2020 presidential election and trying to subvert the 2024 presidential election, AG and SOS races are more important than ever. Democrats got lucky in 2018 and 2022. The only state Democrats didn’t win the AG or SOS race in 2018 and or 2022 was GA unfortunately. But don’t forget, in Pennsylvania, the AG is on the ballot this year in 2024.
