Best wishes. You helped out my kid even though we didn't attend any camps. Your video review was the only professional feedback he's had. Last year he considered quitting but he pushed through, landed on a good team and is 7-2 with a .88GAA and .910Sv% so far. Just won the MyHockey Liberty Cup this past weekend. THANK YOU.

Congrats and all the best Steve. As a new/old goalie (new goalie, age 55) I have learned an enormous amount from your vids. Always wanted to be a goalie as a kid…dad said no. Thank you for helping me learn and finally get to experience and love the greatest position in the greatest game on the planet.

Congratulations on the sale Steve McKichan. My parents recently sold their lounge business since 1995 as of September 2024. What an accomplishment to be able to hand off your business to the next generation. Congratulations to Joe Raaymakers for your purchase of the Future Pro Goaltending business. Yes! I look forward to seeing your contributions to the next generation of goalies. You are absolutely right that Canada has sat on their laurels far too long with hockey and now look at other countries and their elite goalies. No more excuses Canada, look hard in the mirror and help YOUR residents to reach that next level!

question on crease markings - Hockey Cda shows the L marking on the crease 4 ft out - good markings to help on angles - HOWEVER rinks do not use or paint these markings - I'm having big trouble getting those angles done from the side dots to far side of net - how can I get that angle done consistently to stop far side goals?
@FutureProGoaltendingUSA2 ай бұрын
You should never set your position based on rink marking because of inherent variations rink to rink. Tap off and you’ll be fine on pure white ice with no markings.

Just started the vid but to make you feel even more old, you’ve been coaching for as long as I’ve been alive. Okay now on with the video 😁😉

Nice episode… I feel that pain with my son. He gets a goalie coach once per week and spends half the hour doing player skating drills and the other half sharing two coaches with 5 other goalies. Also, the coaches are house club college goalies. I really appreciate them being there but it’s definitely sub optimal.
@FutureProGoaltendingUSA3 ай бұрын
@@williammaroni3193 Thanks for watching! If you have a chance check out the masterclass in the description. If you aren’t getting the coaching required this can make ALL the difference.

@@FutureProGoaltendingUSA thanks! I worry about my ability to get some of these drills into my son’s practices. I’ve been thinking about doing it for quite some time now. My son is 10 and has been in hockey for five years now. Three as a full time goalie. I’d love to try out one of your camps but I’m pretty far away. New Hampshire USA
