it's hard to really get the "goddess mc" thing until you see her live. i saw her open for Brother Ali for one of his album release parties. waiting outside, the crowd literally parted for her and her family, even though no one knew who she was. Her set was captivating, and when Brother Ali brought her out to do a song with him and freestyle, she completely stole the stage. If you've ever seen Brother Ali live, you know that he is a damn impressive show, and an imposing figure on the mic. But Sa Roc was the center of attention, at Ali's own album release party. It's an experience to see her live, I hope her shows are still as impressive

I love what you've said here! I saw her live for the first time in March of this year. Rapsody headlined, and Sa went right before her. I didn't know who was opening, and my wife and I went to see Rapsody. Sa was AMAZING. I became an instant fan. You are spot-on. Her aura is captivating. It transcends charisma. It has to just be who she is. Sa and Rapody both murdered the stage. It was one of the best shows I've ever attended.
