Ended up with an NG93, better than I thought. I would favour another classic 900..but hard to find these days.

This is the best. Sporty and practical. Just wish it was all Saab vs GM/SAAB and SAAB was still making cars.

They did the best they could with limited budgets and restrictions from GM. There's much more to the 9-3 than just a modified Cavalier/Vectra 'A'. They've upgraded virtually everything 👌

I cant believe how cheap these Saab Turbos are , good example can get a 2009 Saab 2 litre turbo for like £1000 on Autotrader not bad for the speed they go at

@@stefansworld3351 Yeah 👍 I seen that from once driven forever smitten on KZbin he bought estate version had oil burning from turbo so replaced that and basically rebuilt the car but he is a mechanic so it didn't cost him much only paid 900 for his 😊

@@christineayres7199 He's not a trained mechanic. I'm a trained mechanic and Saab specialist and it still costs a hell of a lot for parts. The only saving is labour, as I do all of the work myself.

Saab are not made any more so it is very difficult to find parts if there is a problem.

Never liked the shape of this model, such a let down from the unique classic design of the c900. Still own three 5door c900, a 1991 and 2x 1992 models.

Hello, why do you have manual boost control installed?

The 9-3 has trionic 7 with automatic boost control integrated within the ECU controlled via the APC switch.

In addition to the APC, I've included the manual controller between the wastegate and APC solenoid to increase the boost even more so. If you watch my video about making a boost gauge, you'll see how much it peaks and then holds. I was surprised by the results.
