I have a SAAB 9-5 AERO 2002 with manual transmission. His name is - Ragnar! 😀 Measurements based on GPS showed acceleration from 0-100 km / h - 6.8 sec. Top speed 260.01 km / h. I love Ragnar! Mam SAAB 9-5 AERO 2002 z manualną skrzynią biegów. Ma na imię - Ragnar! 😀Pomiary w oparciu o GPS wykazały przespieszenie od 0-100km/h - 6,8 sek. Prędkość maksymalna 260,01 km/h. Uwielbiam Ragnara! 👍

The SAAB-9000 Aero (1993-1996) was a fullminant cars. The engine-managment was 10-15 forwards to the rest the another cars-manufactorys. The trionic-engine-proxys of the saab was own on the world. A many technic-facts: 2,3l-4 Zyl. , 16 Valve, 350 Newtometer by 1.900 turns, liga, came chain, Mitschubischi -Turbo-ceramic water intercooler, front-loader = 1,1 - 1,6 pressure/Bar, 225 PS/HP, Sprint-Speed, 0-100 hk: 5,9 sec, highest speed in hk: 250 sealed off. Sprit wastage: 8,5-9,5 Liter on 100 kilometer. The security pagets is high-optimal. For a new prise from 46.500 Euro in the year 1993 was the Saab a really cheap care

Ende der neunziger Jahren, hatte ich ein Rennen auf der Autobahn in einen SAAB 9000 Aero (Original, 1993) gegen einen 911 Porsche turbo, 3.6 (luftegekühlter 6 Zylinder Boxermotor, 360 PS). Die Ausfahrstrecke befand sich zwischen Stuttgart und München. In allen Beschleunigungsbereichen war der SAAB den Porsche überlegen. Gerade der vierte Gang beim SAAB war effektiv, da er bis 230 km/h auszuführen war. Der SAAB 9000 Aero (2,3 l - 4 Zylinder, Reihenmotor, 16 Ventiler, wassergekühlter Mitsubishi-Keramik-Vorderturbolader - 1,6 Bar -Ladedruck), wurde bei 255 km/h elektronisch abgeriegelt. Der 911 Porsche turbo 3.6 nicht.

230 km/h im vierten Gang!?!?!???? Mit wie vielen Umdrehungen? Ich habe einen SAAB 93 aus 2011 mit 131 PS TTiD. Da beginnt der vierte Gang bei 120 km/h zu weinen. Ich freue mich schon wenn ich den mal nach Deutschland mitnehme um den an sein Limit zu bringen

At 260km and very little wind tunnel speed off a old 2006 car just shows how well made they were.. And we have to give Triumph car brand a part heads up they gave Saab 50k 16v engines and then saab further. Developed them turbo D it at scania engine production line. Will have a aero one day just have my trusty old saab 9 5 2.2 tid engine turbo diesel does me as the roads in Ireland speed cameras everywhere and I wouldn't want to danger other people lives unless I was on the autobhan

Mine has a Hirsch tune but I'm driving a stock Aero service car while they're doing more work on mine and I can tell you, it isn't as quick as that, but mine is a bit quicker than that. So I wouldn't say it has a Hirsch tune but are you sure the intercooler/exhaust hasn't been upgraded, especially the intercooler pipe?

Bullshit ! Engine rpm capability simply isn't high enough unless you have some 'special' axle ratio. And even if ? the motor doesn't produce enough power to counteract Aero drag. My Maserati with 440 hp and 400ftlbs with a 7500rev limit Maxes out at 280 kph.
