@Schimml0rd Idd, but that makes them near impervious to long range AA, while making them a little easier targets to low range AA, and making the planes more vulnerable to crashing. The shrapnel from bombs is not a problem tho, as planes are faster than the debris+bomb-to-ground time

"Carpet bombing cities And grinding them to dust Able men and women Will all be victims Everyone will suffer In their wake of their attack Bombers show no mecy A land in ruin" War might be about as disgusting and wrong as it gets, but I'll be damned if Sabaton isn't one of the best bands out there! Kick-ass lyrics too!

@TheKackstulle93 dude...the first with the german planes is the battle of britain wich takes place in the begining of the movie. and there where only a few US planes in the air too. you see many US planes that gets destroyed on the ground when the attack begins. its reallt about 2 guys that are heroes as you say with your 3rd argument. but one of them dies in the end. watch the movie before you comment anything like that. but i agree with you that americans never dies in movies.

To clear up alot of stupid moaning and questions, the bombings of london (the night scenes) are a different film and the Pearl Harbor ones are not the actual attacks on Pearl, its the revenge attacks against Japan (Tokyo Military Institute). Hopefully this clears up some things.

@TheKackstulle93 There were two pilots who did make it off the ground and killed 7 out of the 11 planes shot down by aircraft by the Americans. In the combat prospective, it wasn't all that far off.

...cont. full of ourselves. We're just as vulnerable as anyone else in the world, it just doesn't seem like it because at the time, we had a much larger military than pretty much the rest of the world. Third, it is true that we were not going to get into WWII until Pearl Harbor happened and there's a lot of conspiracies around that anyway. Finally, while you may not like it, Patton was pretty much the best officer in WWII. As for strategies, well, here's his- there is no strategy...

No, the example was supposed to mean Blair witch project having no over the top hollywood-ness. It was just people walking around in the forest getting scared of their own shadow and then staring at a wall and dropping the camera at the end. If you wanted the movie to have more viewers...I don't know, put a witch in there, maybe?

Check how the French and British lost Paris and then tell me who was not up to date. I was refering to our Infantry and Airpower and later tanks that came into action during 1943-1944. No one was trully up to date during the start of the war.

How many others can you name? I am perfectly aware that some individuals survived, but the culture and nations didn't. There are very few First Nation societies left, and almost no one speaks the original languages, observes the old religions, etc.

Apparently, you have never seen "Saving Private Ryan" and "Band of Brothers". Also, the part in the video with the German planes were from, like the guy said in the description, was from the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia", which as we all know, at least I hope so, that it is a work of fiction. On top of all this, you are implying that making a movie with all realism and no "over the top" Hollywood production would make a good movie, it wouldn't. Example, The Blair Witch Project.

..cont. but to move forward and not stop moving. Slaughter every German you see and ever advance the line. The onslaught will be relentless and always moving forward towards Berlin. That is the ultimate goal and it will be felled." As for how that worked, it was flawless. He never lost and never got pushed back. The Germans feared him for a reason. And sure, he got a lot of his own men killed, that's why he was called 'Old Blood and Guts', but the ends justifies the means.

You actually brought air power into this? Until the P-51 (ETO) and Corsair (PTO) entered the war, you were reliant on the P-40. A plane better suited to ground attack than dogfighting. Again, numbers. As for infantry, one nations soldiers were pretty much like the others. The Germans had better gear (MP-44, Stahlhelm, etc.) but it was a fine line there. Oh, and the "later tanks" in 1944 were still Sherman tanks, with miserable armor and a weak gun.

American tactics, up to date? Let me tell you about American tactics. Americans divided tanks into three categories: Tank-buster, Infantry -support, and general purpose. Each type had a specific role to play. Then, they arrived in Europe and found to their horror the Germans didn't play by the rules. Tigers killed off general-purpose Shermans, then backed off without engaging the Hellcat Tankbuster. You call that up to date? You won through numbers, nothing more.
