the music carries the theme of the song so well. it feels like you get overrun completely. Imagine that happening to you be like "we been invaded? what? when? where?" and their own military high command be like "guys anyone got an idea where that division is?" "I don't think so we lost them after 200miles so we are not so sure?"

The 7th Panzer division punched through the Maginot Line and 200miles into France under the cover of a single night, confusing friend and foe alike! The French heard about Germans breaking through and began to panic, especially since their supposed numbers kept getting exaggerated; the Germans saw the spot where they'd gone through and thought it was a trap, and had trouble getting in contact with Rommel since they'd gone SO far ahead! Rommel himself was quite the character too. He eventually had to back track in his personal vehicle because those of his group who'd managed to keep up with their overnight rush were now stuck behind enemy lines without supplies. At one point he got held up in a traffic jam of baffled French troops, so he had his driver take them around to the front and he started ordering ENEMY SOLDIERS to disperse! In full uniform! The French officers asked him if he was English because, surely there's no way a German general is this deep in France, right? He later went on to fight in northern Africa, where he earned the nickname 'Desert Fox'.
