The hardest until the VC were mentioned was the first one. More because the Sack of Rome of 1527 is important for the history of art as it marks the end of the Italian renaissance and for the history of England as it led to the pope being under the control of Charles V who was the nephew of Catherine of Aragon from whom Henry VIII wanted a divorce hence the shift to Protestantism in England as the pope wouldn't / couldn't give a divorce. The third song was a bit easier as the location is Anzio which was a famous landing site in the Italian campaign of WW2 and it helped that the husband of my godmother had served in Italy in WW2 so I heard a lot about the Italian campaign in my childhood.

I couldn't help laughing at your answers to the second and third songs, as for the songs and the music of all 3 they are absolutely brilliant. Sabaton is the greatest band on the planet and i have been a Sabaton fan for many years. BRITISH SABATON FAN 💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴💙💛🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪

People say Sabaton “overdoes” the anthemic, epic sound, but they’re not singing about clerks who collated and stapled above and beyond the call of duty, here. These stories DESERVE it, and I love it.

good video. I would like to recommend the Sabaton Dreadnought in my opinion it's their best song and the solo gives me goosebumps every time

If these songs were in chronological order it would be The last stand, To hell and back, then Into the fire

So I didn’t realize that you both weren’t versed in Social Studies. I thought that I had previously read that Joel was a history buff. I’ll do something a bit easier with the next Challenge. Maybe video game music. Joel was super close to getting The Last Stand right which would have won the challenge. I’m a little surprised that neither of you picked up on the canons on the shore line in To Hell and Back. I thought that would’ve made getting to WW2 easy. Oh well! Good shit Bois! You each get a Celly for effort!

I mean I only knew about napalm. At my school they didn’t teach us about Audie Murphy or The Swiss guards

I definitely didn’t learn anything about the sack of Rome or the Italian campaign in school. Had to look into those on my own
