I'm so glad we were able to connect you to Sabaton! One thing that is very impressive to me about this band is how equally they treat their subjects. What I mean by that is friend or foe, each song treats its subject matter with reverence. For example, in Red Baron, it would be easy to make him out to be a super villain. After all, he did shoot down a bunch of Allied planes. However, the song respects him and his legacy because he was, first and foremost, a human. Also, in Bismarck, even though the Germans were part of the Axis powers, it still portrays the sailors as citizens, fighting for their country, for what they thought was right. Sabaton brings the human element to the war stories, and I appreciate that they never betray that humanity for the sake of taking sides. Know what I mean?

4 subs until 1k! Keep the content up, your so good. You deserve like 40k! I reccomend Bismarck next Also, Arnhem is mentioned in Screaming Eagles, I am Dutch and know the complete history of that battle. In 1941 Operation Market Garden was attempted (liberation of my country, the Netherlands). It failed, because the Nazi's or as we Dutch called them 'Moffen' had the bridges in hands. So when the Allies tried to cross the river Maas, they could not, 9 days of fighting and they were forced to retreat due to supply shortages. They did not try again until '44 and the last parts of the Netherlands and thus Europe were liberated on May 5th 1945 and May 20th 1945, way after capitulation of Nazi Germany. You can google about it. It is an important piece of history for my country AND Europe. I also reccomend Metalizer (song), Metal Machine, Metal Ripler or Metal Crüe, these songs are epic! Keep going! 🤘

Has Sabaton done a song about how young, green Canadian tankers drove hardened Nazi troops out of Italy? Italy is drenched in Canadian blood. The problem was that the Canadians wouldn't stop, no matter what. No matter how many of them were killed, they wouldn't stop. The Nazis didn't know how to deal with that kind of insanity. All the Nazis could do was run for the coast, and hope for pick up. Meanwhile, the Americans strolled into Rome, to a hero's welcome. If you read American text books or watch American TV, it's all about how the Americans , by themselves, won WWII. They entered 2 yrs late, only after Japan had attacked them at Pearl Harbor. The rest of the allies had been going at it for a couple of years already. Commando training? Covert spy training? That was from Canada and the Brits. Yeah, I'm an old Canadian broad. What are we like as soldiers? Check out our Minister of National Defense. Harjit Sajjan. That is a man worthy of a song. Or six.

You could go to their website and suggest the topic. Not sure if it would ever be done but its worth a try right? Suggestions from fans is how some songs, like No Bullets Fly, were written
