Very sad cartoon..The Star of Andra and Tati tells the true story of the Bucci sisters, Andra and Tatiana, who were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau at the age of 4 and 6 years old during World War II. Separated from many members of their family, they are sent to a “Kinderblok” with their young cousin, Sergio. However due to their own vigilance and the care of another sympathetic inmate, the sisters manage to survive until the liberation of the camp. After transfer to Prague, and then to England, the sisters are finally reunited with their parents in Italy. Andra and Tati’s story is intertwined with the experience of a modern day school trip to that same concentration camp, which gives their lives and what they endured contemporary significance 75 years later.
Thank you for 20 000 subscribers! It motivates me to do more videos)) (also I'll plan to do another one CMV, based on this italian cartoon - produced in 2018 and shown on Media festival)
But...I will release fewer and fewer videos.(( Because I have a very difficult financial situation. I am trying to find a job (or here, or abroad). If I find a job, I will go to work. If I do not find a job soon, I will be forced to sell my reliable and faithful friend, my Super-Laptop, with which we have already experienced a lot in this cruel life .. and then the future of our glorious channel will be bleak (((

They always win. Humanity is a monster, to progress as a species, sacrifices must be made. Life isn't pretty, everyone has their own wars and their own evils. There will always be something monsterious about our species and nothing in the world can change that. But what can do is look to our past to better our future. That is what history is all about.

My great grandpa was a American who landed behind enemy lines on D-Day Normandy, he eventually found one of these camps, and he had to take pictures of the war crimes for trials. Unfortunately, that's part of our history. What maybe my grandfather's father did and what many others did. That's one of the moments where I'm ashamed to be Austrian. A lot of people say there's nothing we can do because it's over. But we can do something. We can make sure the victims and survivors are never forgotten, and we can make sure nothing like this WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

@@ltsi1294 It was really bad, like, really bad. The Nazi's (Not saying Germans because they were basically forced into Nazism) made little exception or care to any lives they saw as inferior and unfit to live. Literal infants corpses were found in Auschwitz ruins, rooms filled with bodies of children and their mother's, absolutely sick. There's a reason you hear "Nazi" and it automatically triggers your flight or fight response for a lot of people that know about the horrors they committed. Not to glorify the Soviets because they weren't good either, but the horror the soldiers must have seen entering the camp, opening their eyes to what was truly behind the Nazi regime.

My great grand father was a Major in the Wehrmacht and led a special battalion to test New weapons in the field. In 1944, he heard rumors about the deathcamps, but when he tried to investigate further by using his rank ,he was warned to go further. That was when he knew there had to be some truth in the rumors. When he surendered in january of 1945, he asked the american who iterrogated him if it was true ,and when he got the confirmation and detailed info, he threw away his iron cross medal. He said if he had known what was going on , he would have deserted to the allies to help them liberate the camps faster. He died in 1996, and till his death it haunted him who he served for .

God, we might not hear the words that went with this animation, but I'm crying over how chilling it is. The children especially ring so much emotion out of me. Fucking children... So many were treated like nothing... Killed without any love or mercy. And even those spared were torn away from their families to be molded into "Aryan" society. It's hard for me to believe that the Nazis could justify such cruelty by any means, to dehumanize and marginalize whole groups so as to make it easier to dispose of them. I refrain from considering any faction or individual "Evil" because everyone has their reasons for doing what they do, no matter how twisted or wrong they are... But the Nazis might truly be worthy of such adjectives, killing so many for little more than petty hatred and material wealth.
