Hello friends, welcome back to my channel. If you are new here, my name is Margarita, and I am a SAHM of 4 kids. On this channel I share homemaking, cooking, cleaning and lifestyle videos. Today I am taking you along with me into my kitchen and sharing how I prepped our sabbath dinner. I hope you guys enjoy this video.

I started making challah in my bread maker. I use the dough cycle, then braid the dough and let rise. Then I bake in the oven.

Hello Margarita, a Vienna Schnizel is actually a national dish here in Austria :-) Bevor putting the meat (originally from a calf) into the eggs we put it in a flour first so the egg does stick better. You can bake a bigger amount in the oven so you save time too. You did a great job again! And the cake has to taste phenomenal. Pavlina

Not all SDAs are nondairy. Lots of SDAs eat dairy and clean meats. If you like her, don’t ask her to change just for you!

I think it's great you make a studious effort to teach your children, not only in their education, but in their Sabbath-keeoing as well. Multi-tasking is the key. Growing up my father was a strict Sabbatarian; heeding the original tenets of Adventism (2 Thessalonians 2:15/Revelation 3:2). . So l make it a habit not to do any unnecessary prep on Sabbath. My trash cans stay empty throughout the sacred hours. I'm a vegetarian who, as a lay pastor here in the Orient, seeks to encourage my parishioners the same. Enjoy your Sabbaths.

Hi Margarita. I pray you had a blessed Sabbath. Wonderful video with the Sabbath prep. I just wanted to ask a question and pray there’s no offense but rather understanding that it’s coming from genuine curiosity. I see more and more SDA wearing jewelry, eg rings, earrings and chains. Would you share with me your biblical views on these? I grew up SDA and this was shared in the Bible as something we don’t do. But if more light came on this topic I’m very happy to hear more about it. Would you mind sharing? Thank you and God bless.

Do you rotate the same menus for your Sabbath days? Like is your meal prep on automatic pilot? Does that make sense?

We usually have themes. Some sabbaths I make Italian, another sabbath I make all Asian dishes and sometimes it’s all Russian foods. So it keeps things different.

In the old days you could tell someone was SDA if there was no jewelry. Now it's hard to tell as many ware jewelry now. It has to do with being humble and self sacrificing and spending your money for the salvation of others.​@@bloomwithDr.Praise

Shhh, better not to say things like that. Only an SDA would even understand that question. It implies that only SDA’s keep the Sabbath, and that’s not true. Also if she said, yes, she was SDA then what you said would offend her. Not all SDA’s ban jewelry, or a meat diet. This is a lovely lady living up to what she knows is right.
