What is Sabbath? How do you practice the Sabbath? What does it mean to keep the Sabbath holy? What does a Sabbath routine look like? In this Sabbath vlog, I'm doing a little Sabbath 101. 🕊 I'll be taking you along for a Sabbath day-in-my life, explaining the biblical importance of Sabbath and why we are called to practice the Sabbath, unpacking some key Bible verses about the Sabbath, and answering common questions about the Sabbath: Should you practice it on a Saturday or Sunday? What types of things do you do/not do on the Sabbath? How do you prepare for the Sabbath day? Practicing the Sabbath is truly life-changing and life-GIVING! I pray that as I share what a Sabbath day looks like for our family and how we practice it with a baby, it inspires you to find ways to practice the Sabbath in your own life as well. 🤍

@Angelllllllllllll1596 likewise Jesus as his customs goes to the temple. So likewise why you don't go to the temple for your worship too? God rested on the seventh day after completion of His creation, He blessed and scantify that day BUT God didn't gave his command that it must be universally adopted by mankind. In the kingdm of God under the new covenant keeping the sabbath is not the vital factor butrighteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. In acts2:46, 47 the early church worshipped even daily. Suggest you read your bible properly and don't just follow blindly. Thank you.

I love that you are keeping the Sabbath as God commanded to, on Saturday. The Seventh Day of week, if you have any questions about which one is the 7th day of the week according to the Bible, notice how when Jesus resurrected, the Bible mentions: "the first day". So is not a day we choose to keep but the day God designated for us to keep. Sabbath is the Seventh Day of the week, meaning Saturday and it as created for us. I pray you can understand this truth and share it with your community!

Love your videos. We keep the Sabbath. We probably don't always get it right, but I pray for God's Spirit to give us wisdom, understanding and joy in the Sabbath. The Bible seems very clear to me that the Sabbath is on the seventh day - Saturday. I saw someone else mention that the Catholic church actually says they changed Sabbath to Sunday. So I choose to keep the Biblical Sabbath. I've also found that the church that most closely aligns with the Bible happens to be the Seventh-day Adventist Church, while the church is not perfect, I can't ignore the truth of the Bible.

You cannot choose what day the sabbath is on and it also says, remember the sabbath day help to keep it holy six days that shot labor and on the seven day is the sabbath of the Lord that God in at the shop not do any work, not a man serve at night I made servant, not a stranger within they get four and six days God created the heavens and the Earth, and on the seventh day he rested and hallowed it that means he made at the sabbath holy

God didn't need to rest as He never tires but He rested so that we may rest and remember to acknowledge Him as our creator. He said "remember the Sabbath Day" because He knew that a lot of us would forget. Sabbath is the last day of the week which in the old Jewish Calendars and a lot still today is Saturday, but when do most people go to church? Sunday. We need to honour the actual day that God blessed and sanctified if we use any other day as the Sabbath we are actually exalting ourselves above God. God bless you all ❤️

My advice to anyone who keeps the Sabbath from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset is to asked yourself is it a need or a want what you are doing. Example, it's not a need to watch tv on the Sabbath. It's a day not only of rest but to draw closer to God in Bible study, prayer, meditation, and going to Sabbath services to be taught by a faithful minister and to fellowship with like minded people.

Did God give human beings a choice to select one day of the week as their day of rest? God rested on the seventh day, and blessed the seventh day; not any other day. I suggest that you study the redemptive significance of the Sabbath rest rather than just focusing on the dos and don'ts.

This was a great video. I wanted to add though, that the bible clearly states that the seventh day is the sabbath (Saturday). It really isn't a choice. The Lord has blessed and sanctified that day to be the sabbath, he says it in the commandments. Another thing is, Although the sabbath is meant for rest and enjoyment it also can be a sacrifice, there are some events that even if we really want to attend, we shouldn't, if it falls on the sabbath. In that instance we show God and others that we choose Him above all. That's my little piece but I love how you describe the sabbath as a joy!

Honoring the Sabbath and keeping it Holy is definitely isolating yourself from the the world. We are to observe the Sabbath set apart from non believers. No domestic work including kindling a fire (no cooking or cleaning). And it is not whatever day we choose or what part of it we choose to honor. This is all wrong. Stop lying! In Acts 20:7 Paul and the church in Troas kept the first day of the week as their rest day and the day of worship. Act 20:7 AMP (ES) And on the first day of the week, when we were assembled together to break bread [the Lord's Supper], Paul discoursed with them, intending to leave the next morning; and he kept on with his message until midnight.

@@Jacobofski on the first day of the week they went to the synagogue. There’s nothing wrong with that, however; Paul and the disciples kept the Sabbath. Keep reading the entire acts. First and foremost… man cannot change the law of God. So, if your argument is “well Paul did this..” what does it have to do with the commandment of God? Are you a follower of man or God? And for the record.. Paul kept the Sabbath.
@Ruzeth
@Ruzeth Жыл бұрын
@@Jacobofski That verse does not explicitly say that they assembled on the first day for the purpose of keeping Sabbath; it only says they assembled on the first day and Paul taught. In the beginning of Acts we read that the believers assembled daily and thus that verse cannot be used as proof that Sunday is the new Sabbath. I do not read at any other place that the Sabbath day was changed from the seventh day to the first day by Yeshua or by some revelation from Elohiym to one of the disciples or Paul. It is a rather important change to make and would have been written down as an explicit command if that was the case. It is, however, up to each person to decide for himself regarding this matter. For myself, I would rather obey Elohiym and the Holy Spirit’s conviction than men, for I will be judged based upon my obedience to Him, and not upon men’s opinions. Yeshua kept Shabbat and if He didn’t He would not have been a sinless offering for our sins; therefore, my conviction is to follow Yeshua as His disciple. Blessings.

It's beautiful what you are trying to do sis..but its all skewed. First the Lord COMMANDED TO KEEP THE SEVENTH DAY HOLY! It's NOT an option! Its not about choosing which day works for you...thatvday would NOT be considered a Sabbath....its just your rest day. Sabath was made for man- means that man has to keep what God made. What did Jesus do, he went into the Temple to worship as his custom was...its not about just hang time doing what you feel like doing. It's about going to church and having worship and fellowship. The word of God said we aught not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together(in the Sanctuary) Anything different from what God commanded is breaking his commandments.!! God is looking at our hearts and motives. But, on the same token, you can’t say hey I’m gonna remodel my home on the Sabbath and then say oh God knows my heart! SDAs are more about EGWhite than they are about our Creator or the Christ. The SDA church I went to with my son treated us in un-Christian ways until we left. Twenty years later, there are still those people who insult us & call us names because I wouldn't accept EGW as equal to the apostles or accept their verbal abuse. My son lost faith due to SDA. In my experience, it's an awful place to worship. Church of God Seventh Day is MUCH better if you can't find a Messianic church.

1.) Gods word only- not EGW. 2.) Because of EGWs prophecies it has promoted no unity with conservative Christian’s as she taught the Protestants and Catholics would join hands and persecute those who don’t keep Saturday sabbath. So- this morphed into most SDAs I knew were all Democrat, did not teach against abortion, and now they accept all LGBTQA. celebrate their lifestyles when scripture is clear, no marriage/relationships outside Gods plan of male/female. He is also clear about effeminate and trans. There were actual Sumerian cults that practiced rudimentary castrated men and dressed them up for prostitution in the temple. There is nothing new under the sun. I also remember reading EGW didn’t see how meat eaters could call themselves Christians. Yeshua ate fish, and lamb at least once a year! Because of their left and sometimes progressive bend- and “extra insights” Ongoing revelations from EGW- I steer clear of them. Their eschatology they are set and will not think outside their denominations box- which means they will miss signs when things are taking place. I am sticking to Torah Observance. But this person is wrong about it not mattering. If the God of the universe makes a date with you- do you reschedule?! The discussion of one day meaning more than another- that needs Jewish context regarding sabbath meaning ALL Holy days and debates at the time on which to keep when. Yeshua is our example and he kept the law (sin is lawlessness) perfectly. So He lives through us so we can live as He did. But- at least it’s a start for her family!

Personally, my time in my early childhood practicing SDA and attending a private SDA Christian school were some of the best Christian experiences in my life. I really felt that sense of holiness when worshiping and actively practicing that clean lifestyle definitely had major effects. 25+ years later, out of all my friends, my childhood SDA friends are all the most well adjusted holistically (consistently over the years) and some still practice. (And that’s coming from someone who most friends went to college and are doing well). I felt a major shift once I switched to public school and stopped practicing SDA lifestyle etc. (Though, I’ve always been a believer and eventually was baptized and regularly attended another church -non-SDA). In recent years, I’m now 30, I started exploring the idea of going back to SDA because I want to practice honoring the sabbath and prefer going to church on that day, so I can have at least one weekend day “to myself”, instead of the full Sabbath on Saturday, then church activities on Sunday. Anyway, as a more mature Christian, I decided to check the SDA doctrine and that’s where I learned they establish many of their teachings in Ellen White and some other things I don’t agree with (though I can’t remember now). I actually never heard of her until I googled it. I don’t believe I was taught that at my SDA school. I even have 2 other family members who attended at different times from me and they never mentioned that either. Anyway, because of that, I’ve decided not to pursue SDA. However, in my personal Christian walk, I am still heavily considering practicing Sabbath (from Friday sunset to Saturday sunrise) and I also don’t mind still going to church on Sunday’s. To me now, there is no such “day to myself” without the Lord’s profound presence. I can still enjoy the outdoors, fun activities with family, even if we just went to church. It’s just that I usually like to rest after having intense spiritual encounters at church. Lastly, I enjoy the thought of spending my own one-on-one time with God to commune with Him, find that true rest, which is the purpose of the Sabbath (and also can be done with my nuclear family in our home). Then let my fellowship with others be separate (on Sunday’s). Anyway, God bless you all in your journeys and I hope that whatever path you choose is in line with God’s Word.

The 10 Commandments weren’t given to Gentiles, only the Jewish people in Exodus. There was never a Covenant between God and the Gentiles. Paul gives Gentiles 4 abstentions in Acts 15:20. Gentiles must keep the 2 Commands of Jesus post resurrection. The Law (Tutor) is fulfilled and we are under faith in Jesus with the New Covenant. Christ is the substance!

You’re not a gentile you get grafted in and become isreal (Romans 11) Read Hebrews carefully the the new covenant is only for the house of Judah and the house of Israel. All Jews are Hebrews but not all Hebrews are Jews. There was 12 tribes of Israel and Jesus came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 10 tribes got scattered all around the world.

When God created in Genesis and rested on the sabbath day. There was no Jewish nation. The sabbath was instituted then in Eden and later the Israelites were given a reminder of the sabbath day because they were under bondage and were not able to keep the commandments of Yahweh. Elohim reminded them of the sabbath day and spoke clearly when He permitted manna on all the other days except on the Sabbath day of how serious He is about us do what is best for us. We observe no killing, no stealing, idol worship, taking the Lord’s name in vain, honoring our parent, not committing fornication, adultery, not coveting and not lying but the one to REMEMBER we say is for another race. Let us pray and ask Yahweh to help us. He did say Remember. Let us read the word for ourselves and ask the Creator of heaven and Earth to show His way that we may walk in it.🙏🏽

What a beautiful family. I can feel the love you guys share and it is so sweet. Thank you for sharing this video. I started practicing the Sabbath but it felt too restricting and legalistic...I had to stop..but seeing this video and also talking to God, I realized it doesn't have to be. So, every Saturday when I wake up I pray, read the bible, come to youtube for some christian related content, then I have breakfast and go to church, and try to do something special with my family. if it works out but I no longer feel guilty if I grab my phone, or want to watch a movie with my family or if we decide to eat out....I just try to focus what I do in God, what ever that is...

It’s amazing how you say it’s a commandment and it’s a sanctified day that was commanded by God for us to keep, yet there are times that you don’t keep it. I keep the Sabbath every week because it’s commanded to. God says that if we love Him, we are to keep His commandments. As Christians, we do and should only listen/follow His commands. He knows what is best for us. Keeping the Sabbath is definitely not a burden to me. It IS possible to build your life around the Sabbath and not the Sabbath around your life. I’m 18 and I’ve been doing it since I was born. And yes…I WAS in a school sport. I also go to church on the Sabbath which makes the day even better! Besides that, I loved the video! Such precious moments and beautiful photography! I will be watching more. ☺️

Thank you so much, for all your wonderful videos, where you are sharing the way you are worshiping God. I agree with you, because it's written in the Bible that God rested on the the seventh day, on Saturday, in Genesis and also in Exodus 20, as one of the Ten Commandments God gave us, through Moses, that we must keep the seventh day, the Sabbath, or Saturday, although here, in the mostly of the European countries, people are worshipping the Lord on Sunday and they call it the day of the Lord. But as you may know, it was the Roman Emperor Constantine, who changed the worshipping day from Saturday, to Sunday, as the English word says, the Day of the Sun, which was an ancient god for other people, as it was for the Egyptians. I also want to tell you that you have a beautiful Family and a beautiful house, although I know that you want to have more kids and you'll move to a larger one. We are under the grace of Jesus Christ (Yeshua/Messiah). Sabbath is for Juddaism (the Jewish) who don't think Jesus is relevant which is extremely and dangerously erronious considering God is also The Son, Jesus Christ "John 2:23: Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also", which should also be respected and accepted. God made Himself man to die for us and redeem and save us and SHOULD be relevant today and remembered. For gentiles who are Christian, we do not require to follow the old Jewish laws like the Pharasees did. Jesus Christ is THE WAY and the TRUTH! There are also a lot of people turning over to Juddaism who aren't even Jewish but claim to be Jewish and this is also wrong "Revelation 2:9 I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan" Paul rebukes Peter for also trying to enforce the old Jewish laws onto gentiles because we are under Jesus Christ's grace! "Philippians 2:10-11 Amplified Bible (AMP) so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father" In following Jesus it is also following God the Father and that is way more relevant than just keeping sabbath today. Please Christians, don't make the same mistake in denying Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as it already was done before.. God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit are one. When Jesus was baptized the Holy Trinity was present. Abraham even refered to 3 men who are manifestation of The Lord as "Lord" in the singular.

Christians need not keep Sabbaths? A biblical approach: In Acts 15, a conflict emerges when Jewish Converts insist that the Gentiles must be circumcised or they cannot be saved. Acts 15:1 Paul and Barnabus go to Jerusalem to meet with the Apostles and Elders to settle the matter. Acts 15:2 Once they arrive in Jerusalem with the Apostles and Elders, the Pharisees demand that to be saved the Gentiles must be circumcised, and keep the Law of Moses. Acts 15:3 There is great discussion and argumentation over the matter, and James expresses their answer: Acts 15:20 “but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.” That is their decision. And so, they decide to write a letter to the Gentiles to tell them what they are expected to observe. Acts 15:22 Luke quotes the letter, and it contains this: Acts 15:24 “Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law”-to whom we gave no such commandment-“ Notice! Here there is no commandment to observe any Law of Moses instructions. And then in Acts 15:28,29 they are given their instructions: “ For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: 29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.” Notice! These are the required things. But no burden of keeping the Law of Moses. This subject pops up again in Acts 21. Paul again goes to Jerusalem and visits James and the Elders. He is accused of not keeping the Law, which Jews must do. And for the THIRD time the instructions for Gentiles is plainly expressed most clearly: Acts 21:24,25 “you yourself (Paul) also walk orderly and keep the law. 25 But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.” And there, for the third and final time, the Pillars of the Church had determined, that as a good Jew, Paul was to observe the Law. And that the Gentiles were absolutely not to observe those things! Which included Sabbaths. They had their instructions from the Apostles that did not include the Law of Moses! There is no Sabbath observance apart from the Law of Moses.

No one was ever commanded to "Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy", except the Hebrewes. (Later called Israel, and finally Judah,) The Law of Moses did not apply to any Gentile, ever. But it applies to no one now because Christ nailed the Law to His cross, completely fulfilling it, thus putting it to no more effect. Jesus forbids us to go back to the Law, calling it, "Putting new patches on old garments", and putting new wine into old wineskins." The Apostle Paul warned us about going back under the law and called it "Falling from grace."

So…. It’s okay to cook and spend money? I thought not doing these things was part of “keeping it Holy”. I have yet to “keep the sabbath”. But it’s a subject that comes up a lot in my heart and mind. I’ve attempted to keep it in the past, but it was short lived. I felt phony somehow. Hard to explain. I do not want my “keeping the Sabbath” in the flesh take away from my faith in Christ that He has fulfilled it already. But in my walk with Christ, He has slowly fulfilled the law in me. Where I was once a thief, I find that through just doing as Paul tells us: “to keep our thoughts unto obedience to Christ.” I find that Christ has delivered me from thieving. Same is true with fornication, lying, dishonoring my parents, coveting etc. One by one Christ delivered me from these things. So it kind of makes sense to me that He would also one day grant me the Sabbath. I’m retired. And I rest and worship every day of the week. lol But I don’t keep any day “Holy”. I’m not sure I fully understand what that means. I know in Isaiah 58 it says “to turn thy foot away from thine own pleasure and to keep from speaking thine own words.” Does anyone keep the Sabbath along these lines? Like “to keep it Holy”? I am genuinely interested in learning what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you about it. Thank you and God bless.

The Transfiguration tells us the keeping of the Sabbath is no longer necessary. Moses and Elijah (the law and the prophets) .. gone. Old Covenant gives way to the New Covenant of grace. Careful folks…. you decide keeping the Sabbath is still required then you bind yourself to ALL the law and your right back to before Christ came. Keeping Sabbath because you want to and do it unto the Lord….. fine, wonderful. Keeping Sabbath because you believe it’s necessary for salvation… dangerous. Judaizers.

God's Sabbath has nothing to do with Saturday, Sunday or worship. Sabbath is a rest and not a day. True Sabbath rest was made available to man by Jesus Christ Mathew 11:28,29. A rest for our soul. Prior to Jesus Christ, God gave the Israelites sabbath day as part of the Covernant to keep and remember that this is a shadow of his true rest that will only be made available in Christ Jesus. So the Jews were commanded to keep the Sabbath day, but more importantly, they are expected of God to enter the land of Canaan (type of God's Sabbath Rest, Hebrew 4:8) and remain in it. Unfortunately, They didn't because of unbelief. In Hebrew 4:7, we have a new sabbath day called "Today". Today we must enter into the Sabbath rest of God and remain in it. God entered into his rest after creation and he remain in it to this day. He never keep it again and again. That doesn't mean he is no longer working. John 5:17 In his defense Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working." When Jesus returns we will enter into his sabbath rest and remain in it for a thousand years and beyond.

No one has been under the Law of Moses in almost 2000 years. That includes the Sabbath. The Sabbath was merely an OT covenant sign between God and Israel (Exodus 31:16-17). Per the NT, we rest in salvation, not the Sabbath ("shadow of things to come"). We keep the Sabbath every day. The verse you are referring to in Hebrews translates from Greek and Latin to "salvation" and not a literal day. I hope this comment does not come off as offensive. As a Christian, we are called to study and understand. Misinterpretation of scripture is dangerous. Thinking we need to keep the Sabbath leads to legalism and not Grace. (Romans 14:5-6a, Galatians 4:10-11, Colossians 2:16-17)

God told Adam and Eve not to eat a specific from a specific tree. The serpent came along saying otherwise. Today we still see that happening. God tells us to keep His Law, yet the serpent comes along saying otherwise and many people unfortunately believe him. The transgression of the Laws of God is what caused so many problems. God sent and thankfully still sending so many people and prophets warning and telling people to return back to the ancient path, back to His Law, yet so many people do not heed the call. His Son even says he did not come to abolish the Law yet he gets ignored. Heaven and Earth has not passed away, The Law still stands. Matthew 5:17-18. Romans 12:2.

@LivForYahuah The Laws of the Mosaic Covenant are fulfilled in Christ - The Law and the Sabbath were pointing to Christ, it was a shadow of what was to come, and not the substance (Colossians 2:16-17). Jesus said that He came not to abolish the law but to fulfill the law (Matthew 5:17). In fulfilling the law, He completed the law. How did He do this? Jesus fulfilled the Law by obeying the law perfectly and by completing the sacrificial system. Jesus saves to the uttermost! In what way can we offer one more sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins? Jesus pronouncement, “It is finished,” signified the completion and fulfillment of the law.

@LivForYahuah The Law of Moses is no longer in force. As Paul put it, the Lord has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to His cross (Col. 2:13,14). He continues saying, Therefore let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ (Col. 2:16,17). These Christians were being criticized for not keeping the Law of Moses, especially with respect to remembering the Sabbath. In this passage Paul refers to keeping the Sabbath as a shadow of things to come, a phrase used by the Hebrew writer in reference to making animal sacrifices (Heb. 10:1-4). Just as the shadow of animal sacrifice was replaced by the substance of Christ’s sacrificial death, so is the shadow of remembering the Sabbath replaced by the substance of the Lord’s Supper on the first day of the week. There is just as much authority in the New Testament for remembering the Sabbath as there is for animal sacrifices none!

He certainly does! In the beginning God intended for us all to eat out of The Garden He planted. So our diet was to be all those delicious fruits, veggies, nuts, grains & herbs, for Adam & Eve whose bodies were brand new, without defects, illness or fault, these were to keep them healthy, alive & provide all they needed for great nourishment.. He gave us all that was good to eat in that garden. Later, when man became more sin folled & disobedient, the Lord God provided a list of those clean animals men could eat, & that of those we should not. That was also done for our good, so our bodies would remain healthy, strong, beautiful & we would live long productive lives. Been that men chose to disobey Hod all together, people eat anything that they choose, but if we want to reconnect with our Loving God as He asks us to, we would weekly take time to read His Word, ask in prayer to be led to the truth & then obey as we learn. Vegetarians that also regulate their intake of food & other areas that require our attention, live longer, healthier lives; because God also promised to keep disease away, when we obey... It's truly a beautiful thing! ☝️💓🙏🏼 💕 😄 💞 🙌 Blessings to you & to all here.

There is no multiple choice on what day is the sabbath. It is not our Sabbath day. It is the Lords day for Exodus 20:8-11. It’s not whatever day is convenient. We are to intentionally choose the Sabbath regardless of what is going on that day anywhere else. You read the scripture. God specifically said aside the seventh day. Never in all of the Bible just God deviate from that. And neither should we have God’s children.

Jesus never violated the Sabbath. When He and his disciples " picked grain", it was a few handfuls of the grain kernels for thier immediate eating as they needed to eat at the moment. That is far from harvesting the whole field with back breaking labor in large bushels or large piles all day long. So the Pharisees were off base on what they thought was a violation of the Sabbath. EATING is not off limits. Even i f you pick a handful of fruit to eat . That usually weighs less than a pound, think how heavy a baby is. Did God say you can't pick up your baby on Sabbath? NO. Did God say you can't serve your family a bowl of food or a loaf of bread on Sabbath, in your home? NO. Yet those things might weigh nearly a pound. Far more than a tiny handful of grain kernels.

Sabbath is a command for Jews. It was Mosaic law. They are very strict about how they practice sabbath. No washing/bathing/carrying/cooking etc. Gentiles were not commanded to follow it. Jesus gave us a new covenant. If you do observe Sabbath- it is ceremonial. Not a law. Paul instructed early Christian’s to not let people judge the days they worship or their holy days. This is why women are to learn in quiet and for men to teach. You will be held accountable for what you teach.

The Sabbath was not a command for the Jews. The Jews are Hebrew Israelites from the tribe of Judah. There was 12 tribes and it was commanded to them all. The new covenant spoken of in Hebrews 8:8 is for the house of Israel and the house of Judah (the tribes got split after king Solomon). In Romans 11:17-27 were told we get grafted in and become apart of Israel (Gods chosen people). There’s an identity crisis in the church because they don’t know who they are. They’re the lost 10 tribes of the house of Israel who God divorced and scattered all over the world. Jesus says in Matthew 15:24 I was sent only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Why was He only sent for them? Because God doesn’t change and Jesus is God and God divorced the northern 10 tribes of Israel. So Jesus came so we could be grafted back in and to release us from the curse of the law which is death. Paul was speaking to the Colossians who were coming out of pagan traditions. He was telling them don’t let them (the people still practicing pagan practices) judge you for observing the festivals, new moons and sabbaths. He was not saying that you get to pick your own sabbath and do whatever you want. Paul himself kept the sabbath and he’s not a hypocrite. However in 2 Peter 3:15-16 we’re told that the untaught and unstable distort Paul’s writings as they do the rest of the scriptures to their own destruction. Pray about these things and ask God. He will tell you the truth if you want to know.

Jesus was born a Jew, dies a Jew, and rose again as a Jew, and is coming back as a Jew.... and not for a lawless bride. God's law is not for the Jews only, and thats the biggest crisis we have have in the modern christian sect. Not knowing who we are and not knowing God's law, because we believe it's been done away with... Or you get the other side of the stick where you're adding to it. The law is to be written on our hearts 🤍. What do you think Jesus meant when He said "not one jot or tittle shall pass away".... Read the scriptures objectively. As much as she will be held accountable for what she teaches, much will WE be held accountable for the words we say. 🙏🤍

You call the sabbath holy and you are right. What thing or person is holy save for God Himself? May we never speak that something apart from God is holy. In doing so we have sinned. For it is spoken of the Christ as His Holy Anointed One. By this truth we can know that the Holy Sabbath is Christ our Lord Jesus who is superior to all things and people. As the author of Hebrews labors over. Therefore sabbath is not a day, one in seven, rather true Sabbath is Holy, which is Christ. Those who are in Holy Sabbath can be so only if found in the Holy One, which is Christ. Apart from Christ there is no sabbath rest save for that which is temporary and of no lasting value. A shadow of the true Holy Sabbath. Christ is Sabbath and his rest is ever lasting. Those outside Christ Sabbath rest will never have sabbath of any value. May we love and worship Holy Christ, Holy Sabbath, the Holy One who is all in all.

Of something you don't understand ma'am is as you are Western Christian on an Orthodox Christian or that's Christians adhere to the Sabbath Saturday and Sunday not one day of the week so on Saturday you prepare for the Sabbath and you slow down and you do stuff to prepare at your house but you do not work and then Sunday there is no work in the house and you relax. And that is a fact that has been part of the Orthodox Christianity for centuries that Western Christians have not wanted to adopt or refuse to do because their Western Christians and after the Catholicism they thought well we'll just cross their cells left to right and set her right to left when Jesus disciples made it very clear it's right to left not left to right but is a mockery through the Schism by the Catholic Church to do that just as not adhering to respecting the Sabbath and what the Sabbath is about Jesus was Jewish and the Orthodox Church acknowledges that therefore we do acknowledge the Sabbath and Passover. And so Saturday you're supposed to not be at work but preparing home by cooking and getting the last minute things taken care of and starting to whine down and relax unplug and not do anything just chill out and just prepare and then Sunday comes you have that also the entire day now everything is all prepared ready for the Sabbath. And I'll tell you where he's back in the day those who are truly Christian from the west and those Orthodox Christians who are not part of the western Christianity followed the Sabbath that here to it and not only that they make sure anybody who was not adhering to the Sabbath and not following the Christian teachings of Christ's disciples guess what they got to work on the weekends that means they worked Monday through Sunday and anybody who did it here to it would have Saturday and Sundays off at any business any retail or anywhere else for that matter for work as long as they properly adhere to the Sabbath and fold God's Commandments they are allowed to have Saturday and Sunday off to prepare and support their families during the Sabbath and wrestler coupe the way God teaches us to on the sabbath.

Principle? ... any day of the week as 1 day. I think it is only the 7th not day 1-6 ... we cannot make something holy but we sure can defile it. We need to be careful not to read into scripture the modern culture .. into any of the instruction. This is a nice video and I am not basically opposed ... but we should have men teach and not women... Husbands and Fathers are the head of the household not woman... this is a true teaching. You should look at Deut 16 too and other places.. as there are yearly sabbaths. blessings. It is good to not be illeagalistic.

Here is a thought: The days of creation each had a morning and evening. The Sabbath day, when God entered His Rest is different because there isn’t a morning and evening. He is always in His Sabbath. So, whether we enter with Him on Sunday or Wednesday or Saturday, He is there, ready to meet with us.

God is always with us. He said he would be with us alway. Matthew 28:19-20. Let us not forget though that obedience is better than sacrifice. Cain gave of his best but it was not accepted because Yahweh is specific in what He desires from us. He is orderly, He does not change. We cannot chose a day and say it is the sabbath day. No, we cannot. God has a created, sanctified, hollowed and made THE sabbath day holy. Exodus 20:8 Remember goes before the command because He knew we would forget as well as to remind us of what He expects. Leviticus 23:3 states congregating on “The sabbath day”. That’s what He requires and it is all our choice. We are not to be forced. We chose to worship Him in Spirit and in truth as His words clearly states. Soon the whole world will be called to worship on Sunday because of the climate change and all that comes with it floods, Storms, wildfire etc. God is wise puny humans, created being are always seeking to explain their way out of doing what pleases us. Adam and Eve did, but let us find our way to the truth. God’s word is truth.

James 2:10 “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” I don’t mess around when it comes to Gods commandments. Honoring Sabbath is very important in our home. We honor it on Saturdays as well because that is the 7th day. We do not buy anything, we do not sell anything. I’ve been working hard on not even cleaning the house on Saturdays, but that’s a work in progress for me because the house can be destroyed in minutes with a toddler in the house lol

@@kristabrewer6736 I personally feel that honoring the Sabbath does affect our salvation. Being obedient to the Lord is showing our faith in Him. A large part of being obedient to Him is following all 10 of His commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9-16 “Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.” There’s a reason God reiterated through the entire Bible how important it is to keep His commandments throughout your generations forever. 🙏❤️

@@kristabrewer6736 my personal opinion is if we can’t even devote one day throughout our week to honor Him, after everything He has done for each of us, do we deserve salvation? @@timi-elyese908 no, it didn't come off harsh; however, the 10 Commandments were given to the Jews, not us (I don't know, were there even any Gentiles BACK then) That doesn't mean we can deliberately break them, but if we do, we do

Jesus Christ is the only one that can justify us. You can't keep the law of Moses and expect to be saved since you have sinned, as we all have. Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, died on the cross for your sins, was buried and rose again the third day. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. In John 6:47 Jesus said: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Same, but I'm finding they aren't really different. As a gentile, I've been grafted in. Christian just means I believe in the Messiah! I still follow the whole Bible. I keep the Sabbath because God set that up at creation. I keep the 10 commandments. When Jesus said Love your God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself, that covers the whole 10 commandments because they are split in worshipping and following God, and being good to our fellow people. I would recommend looking for a local church that worships on the Sabbath (which is Saturday and not another day) and just grow. Jesus was Jewish. There's no conflict. There are moments I feel like I'm a Messianic grafted in Jewish individual.

Hello! I don't know what to say about it. I'm surprised to see Christians who keep the Sabbath. But it's none of my business. It's between you and the LORD. Many people think it's on Saturday, but in fact, it starts on Friday evening. I noticed you did not reply to the comment I posted yesterday (it was about God's purpose for our lives). You don't have to reply, but I'd like to know what you think about it. Even though I'll probably disagree with you. Here is my comment: Hello! Thank you for this interesting video! I don't know what to think about it. Sometimes we may choose things that we were not supposed to choose. We don't make the right choices. In those cases, do you believe the LORD might change His plans? I think it is possible to miss His plans. But even if we did, I think He always has plans. Maybe not the same plans He had initially for us... I noticed something: When someone is unemployed, people at church pray for that person in order for her/him to find a job. But what if the Lord's plan for them was to be unemployed? What if it was really the LORD's will for them? People at church seem to believe that it cannot be God's will. But everyone's life is different... God's plans cannot be the same for each person.

I obviously am not the video creator, but I wanted to share my thought. Do you think anything we do surprises God? If we make poor choices, He always has a road back to His salvation for us, but we might miss certain callings which we might have served Him in and blessings He had on the better path. Second, the concept of praying for an unemployment to end. There’s a verse which talks about making plans and always committing them to God “If God wills…” rather than talking of the future like you already know what will happen. So, when we pray for a blessing, we commit it to God that all things are according to His will and timing. We pray for relief though because it is logical.
