Africa needs to withdraw from the ICC period! All countries must signed as those African countries have.

100% right. If only Africa will ever realize that coming together of the only solution to our problems then this will be ideal.

At first I had a negative feelings towards Charles Taylor, When I listened to his trials and the parties which were involved then I concluded that he never had to be convicted with that hard sentence. I cannot also understand how prince Johnson is freely transacting is businesses in Liberia when Taylor is in jail. My feelings are that there were more forces behind these civil wars in Liberia and sierra Leone. The was never told the truth He was used as scapegoat

And we africans will be doomed for so long coming. Our leaders are not political fair in ruling their countries. So leave the western world alone...That charles taylor deserves his 50 years sentence. And for me this wasn't justice enough, he must should have been sentenced to 100 + years in jail...that is my personal opinion!!!

Can Liberia also blame the Sierra Leoanean government for helping ULIMO to launch war in Liberia? Charles Taylor was not given a fair trial. I think the ICC and other international partners were only looking for skip goat for the nonsense that happened in Sierra Leone. An incident they all turned their backs at in pursuit of diamond and other resources. Liberians also died from Sierra Leone's contribution to our war allowing ULIMO to use their country as a base to enter Liberia. Not just Charles Taylor alone should be held responsible but the other big players. Africa should wake up and open their eyes.

Nonsense comment. You are really struggling to be educated. ULIMO base in Sierra Leone. You don't really know your history. Why did Taylor lunch war in Guinea? I will really like to educate about civil war in Sierra Leone and Liberia as Sierra Leonean myself.

@blendings29122 жыл бұрын
If you listened he said based on the evidence presented and his 30yrs of experience he shouldn't have been convicted. He's not saying Charles is innocent. If we don't follow the law on prosecuting him, how can we say, Charles Taylor didn't follow the law? How do you answer that? The man chose his words very wisely and spoke volumes of sense clearly. No mincing there😂

Jus to let you know we are discussing Taylor here not Bush.. The US admin is the most dangerous corrupt self serving devilish institution on the planet.. The greatest threat to global peace and a continent full of nut cases and it is they who managed this entire situation and they who have more blood on their hands than any other nation.. Thats a statistical fact based on numbers killed
