SA has regained market access for the exportation of apples to Thailand.
The market has been closed for 16 years due to changes in requirements by the trading partner.

"On 28 December 2024, Thailand was informed by Russia, Chair of BRICS for 2024, confirming that Thailand will join BRICS as a Partner Country starting from 1 January 2025"... So not all is bad, sadly we only focus on the bad side. Being able to enter AGOA markets and BRICS markets is beautiful. We should be like India and enter all markets without fear or favour.
