Since this video came out CFX has pushed a feature called GraFx. It closed the gap to Proffie in the sense that startups can now be really complicated. For example, illuminations can start at the tip, middle, or multiple points along the blade, all the while changing colours. A 10 out of 10 feature, imo. The Crystalfocus web page clearly gives all the info you need. Still no tip-drag though?

I have a CFX sabertrio, and I can honestly say it is amazing. I have heard from some people that proffie is better than CFX, but the recent updates to CFX are quickly catching up if not surpassing proffie on some categories. i.e grafx

Both are great soundboards. Common for that matter. Love them both 100%. But CFX is much easier to use than Proffie. Not saying Proffie is hard to use. It’s just as easy as CFX, but like you said, when it comes to adding sound fonts and (especially) blade styles…yea that’s gonna be a headache. I have 2 Proffie sabers. And I usually just change the sound because the sound fonts I choose, the blade styles that are already on the saber suit it anyways, so I don’t feel the need to change them unless I go for a specific sound. That’ll be the only time I’ll change the blade profile.

It’s a good starting board for someone looking to start into the hobby but doesn’t come anywhere close to CFX or Proffie. In my opinion

Out of the box they tweak proffie to act a lot like CFX... When you program Proffie to be the best of modern Proffie is, way, way, WAY more customizable.... After the learning curve, once you've set up the Config, you can easily add and tweak a new soundfont without touching the config until an important update with crazy be features come out. So much more customizable. Not for everyone though... Much so much more available. sabertrio majorly nerfs their proffie sabers. They could set it up soon you could really add donuts and change styles.... Go into deep sleep and make the CFX look like a toy

Vader's Vault my friend, they have the best in my opinion. But they are very expensive. Second I would honestly say Sabertrio.

100% vaders vault if you don't care about the price vaders vault is top quality but top dollar sabertrio is cheaper but still amazing quality if your looking for a wide variety of sabers to choose from than saberforge has by far the most variety

@@xicorescalante2854 Just go with an LED or an in-hilt light, duelling will definitely damage a neopixel because of how many tiny lights there are, I don't care what anyone says 😂 Also... Expensive to replace.

The ability to edit bladestyles with proffie is just too god to pass up for me. If Proffie had deep sleep it would be perfect

Too me I think cfx smooth swing isn’t that great I might get heat for that comment but that’s just my opinion I have a Sabertrio cfx and proffie and the smooth swing on cfx cuts to the next swing l or swing h wav to quick and not a smooth transition to wav file I set my smooth physics to 2000 from 950 and it Helped a lot I do like how easy cfx is Omggg so easy haha drop and drag basically 😂 with proffie the biggest draw for me is the kn board memory I have 45 fonts max with my cfx I have 130

From what it sounds like, CFX is more streamlined for ease of intended use(kind of like iOS) and has less hurdles when it comes to customizing it(kind of like an Android) Proffie on the other hand sounds like it has more flexibility/variety with custom features(kind of like an Android) but it's harder to customize(kind of like iOS)
