Players' Choice is a new program from SABIAN that allows drummers to determine which new cymbals SABIAN will introduce for 2012.
In this video Mike Portnoy tries out the 20" HHX Aero Crash, 18" Groove Control Crash and 16" HH Glass Crash.

@asdfcrow it must be one of the earlier birch/bubingas then, since it has painted badges(by the look of it). i have a birch/bubinga kit from 2010, and it has metal badges.

Yes, he normally plays like this to have a more balanced sound between his stronger right hand and his "weaker" left hand. The thicker end adds more power to his strokes.
