While the sabres can work, most of the time the teams they are put on tend to disintegrate, simply due to the stopping power of the .50s really isn't enough to stop the team hemorrhaging players, and once that snowball starts, its really quite hard to bring the W home, game after game, in a row

The Sabre A-5 was the first american jet fighter that i actually spaded (even first that the P-80) i loved that plane I could get 2 -4 kills each game it was pretty easy to me despite not being a pretty average player of course that was in August -September 2020 and a lot of level 15 players in F-111 but not the less. One of my favorite matches was when after take off and climb a Mig17 may 600 feet above my pops out he sees and in goes vertical ,i followed him firing a hail of tracers and his tail is cut off. When i level the plane there was a Might 15 being chased by 5 planes of my team so i just dive ,lead my .50 cal and after a short brust i get the kill

Haven’t played 8.0-9.0 jets in awhile. I absolutely love German mig 15 bis and lim5 with the current situation with the su25k coming out right on top of the a10 it makes engagements difficult. If the one of 5 of those planes gets their nose on you you’re dead. Those missiles have no business facing planes without countermeasures

That CL-13 was the Mk.4 model, which is just a straight up F-86A-5. The ones that are actually better than sabres are the CL-13A Mk.5 and CL-13B

Personally I’ve never played the F25. I played the fuck out of the A5 tho. Absolutely love it and believe with all my heart it is superior to the MiG15 and the bis even if you do it right. F-86A-5 supremacy

The F86A-5 is certainly not better then the Mig15bis :D If those two planes merge and the mig goes into a climb, it will quickly stall out the sabre. Even if the sabre doesnt commit, the mig can then just dive down on the sabre and either BnZ or go for the airbrake and ride the enemys ass

My last experiences with the saber were not the best. I've been grinding the Chinese tech tree for the past 2 weeks and have gotten some amazing dogfights in the WW2 aircraft after playing 10.0 and 11.0 in the US tree for so long. After seeing this vid I think I'll fly out the saber again and give it a second chance. Maybe I'll get the adrenaline pumping fights like I do in WW2 aircraft.

The matchmaking is so depressing in this thing right now. I have had a single non-uptier, no downtiers, and 90% of the games is a 9.7 uptier. Shot down a MiG-23 in this which was kind of funny. But having to fight against R-60's and Aim-9G's in this thing is just simply unacceptable. Really hope they fix this battle rating, it should be at 8.3 at the most and probably 8.0. I should not be against MiG-21's when I want to fly out my Korean-war era subsonic jet.

Day 20 of asking to play the yak4 at 2.0 Start by a dive directly at q base that has another base clise to it ( 2 bases beside each other) 4 bombs for each Go straight to your base killing some ai on the way with your 7.62 Some planes will come on your back going in a straigh line with minimal evading is recommended and try to hit their engines with ur turret since they have weak engines a damaged one will lead them to crash i return to the airfield with 2 bases with 4 to 5 ai kills and 1 or 2 planes after taking off i go for bases if left but if not i will focus on ground targets cuz aa is the bain of this plane so bombing airfields is not recommended Bonus:do not forget to have smoke always on to piss the enemies 🤣

7:50 wtf do you not get? this is how you play without an energy advantage lmao, this is basically how you would play against mig15's back in the day if they had one or two very high up and you had to dive into a pack for an opportunity. Use your roll rate in a dive for some free shots then run away with your max speed and dodge dives while giving more opportunities to your teammates while they lose their alt advantage. He should have straightened out ran away and flattened the angle between you and him while you focus on other targets, at some point he would lose the disadvantage even a bit below you due to better energy generation when maneuvering and energy amount due to a higher top speed, which would make him very dangerous if you were distracted or didn't specifically follow him to keep the angle. The fact that he came back and fought multiple of you on his own is the obvious misplay lmao.
