This discussion is one that needs to be broadcast to the masses & should be required listening. Giving $$$/funding/aid to companies or groups to help others is always going to be a short term solution. The $$$ or whatever help that is being given should be focused towards actually helping those in need DIRECTLY to better themselves so that they can learn the skills & then pass it on to the next generation. We also need across the board changes in govt as well; there needs to be a culture shift from people in govt being more concerned about the people that they represent versus them solely focusing on growing their own personal wealth/power. Only then can recurring cycles be broken across the board.
