Hmmm... I often can't get some of the ingredients. But that makes it fun to try other things in their place. Sometimes with disastrous results. LOL Although that worked out really well for a Banana bread recipe where I had to swap ginger for cinnamon. Really like the idea of using the waffle iron for this.

What can't you get? The Sago pearls? Where do you live?

@@KravingsFoodAdventures Sago Pearls, both the Lime and Curry leaves and Galangal. The Galangal I can sometimes get but it's always frozen. My choice of Chillis is also somewhat limited. I suppose I could get some of that off Amazon but I prefer to give my $ to Mom&Pop stores if I can.

@@throwaway692 yeah curry leaves would be difficult, but the Sago pearls you can order online. Depending on where you live, you could purchase a curry leaf plant.

@@KravingsFoodAdventures My SIL (who 1st introduced me to your channel) has been after me to buy a few Bay Leaf Tree cuttings for that purpose. So going for the Curry Leaf Plant sounds like a good idea. I wanted some fresh Galangal so I could try and grow that too. I'll have to wait until my next Pilgrimage to DC for that I reckon.
