That looks pleasant. Would you please tell me how many people it should it serve ? I've a seperate question too if I may ask. What should a dish described as "Bangalore Style" imply ? I ate at a restaurant last night and had such a dish, but I can't find anywhere that gives a definitive description as to what the phrase implies about a dish. Hope you see this. Thanks in advance.
@KravingsFoodAdventures18 күн бұрын
Hi there! This would easily serve 6 - 8 people. The reason we call it Bangalore style is because in India, a Korma will differ based on what state you come from. Bangalore is in Karnataka and the muslim community there will make a Korma in this way.
@WideCuriosity18 күн бұрын
@@KravingsFoodAdventures Thank you very much for your response. Much appreciated. I shall try to scale the ingredients down then in order to make it for two. Edit: PS, last night's meal was definitely not a korma. It was a duck hasina, and somewhat hot spicier than expected.

Goans do not use nuts yes some use raisins as twist but purely coconut grated with palm jaggery.

I would agree that the original recipe does not call for nuts as I called out in the video, but it's a lot better than plain coconut.

Thank you for promoting Moroccan food, but red beans are not used in Moroccan cuisine, and i think they would change the taste. What you can use is Potatoes (pieces cooked in the tajine or French fries and added at the end) or Carrots. You can also do just chicken without any vegetables but then it s better to double the amount of onions. Great video though
