Sacred Journeys S1 EP5 Hawk Stone, Hoar Stone & King Stone

Friends Rev Helen James and Kelly Peacey take you on another magical Sacred Journey to 3 separate sites where mysterious and enigmatic standing stones are placed but why?
This adventure takes you with us to the Hawk Stone. Most people think of Jeremy Clarkson and Hawkstone beer but for the record, they named it after this 9 ft tall ancient standing stone in Dean, not far from Jeremy’s farm.
There is much interesting folklore surrounding Hawk Stone, from it being dragged by a witch, to it being part of a stone circle, to being somewhere that accused ‘witches’ were tortured and killed.
The Hawk Stone had a particularly interesting energy and the guardian was keen to communicate to us that it has experienced much from the projections of humanity. In response, Helen offers the Hoʻoponopono, a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness that aims to restore balance and harmony. There is a noticeable change in the energy after this beautiful offering.
In contrast our next site was completely different and very welcoming. Hoar Stone at Enstone has 3 remaining stones that was believed to part of a chambered long barrow. Kelly dowsed to find the intersection of two energy lines that are said to be near. With its twisted trees and being on the side of crossroads, it could easily be missed but we highly recommend popping to say hello to this friendly site.
Next up, we visited the King Stone which is part of the Rollrights complex that also contains a Stone Circle and the 3 Whispering Knights. Local tales tell of a witch turning a king (the King Stone), his knights (Whispering Knights) and the king’s men (the Stone Circle) in to stone after being warned not to come to the land. It is said that at night they turn back into men and travel to Little Compton to drink the water.
With its gnarled and holey oolitic lime stones containing grains of quartz, this site has an intense atmosphere and there is many accounts of strange phenomenon here including time slips, meeting with fairy folk, seeing huge dogs that disappear and plasma balls all of which are thought to be related to a geological fault there and the high levels of radon.
Focusing on the King Stone, Kelly dowses the crossing point of the Belinus and Elen dragon currents that authors of “The Spine of Albion” - Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare write about. Here Kelly lays out her crystals and together with Helen they create a Pillar of Peace linking to line 3 of John Michell’s Great Decagon centred around the White Leaved Oak with it’s 10 extending energy lines.
