You noted it would be good if there was a part that could cover the clump strainer to empty all the litter down the waste hole. You could just make one with poster board and two pieces of tape (duck tape should do it). A premade thing designed to fit there would be better. But, I would make my own if I owned one of these.

@@wintersnowcloud it does seem easy enough. I’ll have to give a whirl. Thanks for the suggestion!

What liter do you use? I feel like my current clumping litter would stick to the sides

Hi! Do you think it is possible for a cat’s paw to get broken if they hopped in while cleaning? I see there is a hole straight in the bottom. Im worried a cat could fall in it and it start to close on them. I bought a robot cleaner on amazon and it came out that it was killing cats! The barrel moved forward so when the door part would close cats would get their head stuck and you can imagine the rest… I am worried the same could happen with this model. Mine supposedly had safety sensors but they don’t work 100% of the time.

@@CynthiaLendon from playing with it a bit I’ve noticed that it will stop cycling if it senses any weight change during operation. So that seems like a good safety feature. It uses some type of scale/weight sensor to sense changes. Maybe I’ll make another video demonstrating it.

as soon as my cat puts his paws even on the rim of the machine while its cleaning (he's so nosey!) it will stop cleaning. No worries so far about safety
