Two sad houses. I hope you guys took the diary of Chris with you. It is too personal to be left there that way. I love how you don’t knock any of the houses. It shows you have good character.

As always, your videos love it! A clock that stopped ... a child who lost his toy. Windows that illuminate a house that was once a home! The life of a family that is no longer, that escaped...
@salliegiocondo17387 жыл бұрын
I love your videos for a few reasons..... First of all you're very respectful and it's obvious that you have compassion for the people who once lived there. You never make fun of or mock the Hoarders. Second.....you never take the Lord's name in vain or drop any F-bombs or foul language. I don't have to worry if my grandchildren are watching with me. It's funny the way young kids like to see abandoned places. Our future explorers. The third thing I would like to say is I appreciate how clearly you talk and I appreciate how you always try to get some history on the house and previous owners. And the last thing I want to say....You're very mature and wise beyond your years. My hat is off to your parents. They did a wonderful job raising you. Any parent would be proud to have you for a son. Take care and God bless.

Urban Exploring With Kappy Here's independent confirmation from another old(er) lady-everything Ms. Giocondo said goes for me as well-ya done real good, Kappy. Could you do one more thing in your videos-would you please linger a little longer on really neat features like the old stove and the bathtub? Some of us love to research the manufacturers if brand names are visible and the information can sometimes add to the history of the house. Plus that stuff is just plain cool to look at. Thanks, Kappy, for all-around nice videos.

That was pretty sad finding the Diary. That person must have really loved that guy a lot. It is sad to find it so many years later just left there to rot. All of those special memories are gone. I wonder where the girl is that owned the Diary? It would be nice to try to locate her if she is still living. There are a lot of ways to locate people now with all of this smart technology that we have today.

It's so weird to me watching videos like these. Out here in the Bay Area of California we have a housing shortage; we're importing new workers but have no place to put them because local laws won't allow new housing to be built (to keep existing home values up). New arrivals live in horrible apartments with 3 or 4 in a single bedroom. Here, these places you are exploring would be multimillion dollar properties, and nobody would ever let them rot to the ground like that... and having actual acreage around a home is almost unheard of unless you live far, far out of town up in the mountains. And even there - my friend bought a pretty big home on 3 acres about 10 years ago for almost 900k. Who knows what it is worth today!!
@urbanexploringwithkappy17737 жыл бұрын
MrJest2 wow! Thanks for sharing that info! I believe the house and land was valued at about 200,000$, which seems a lot cheaper still!

Yes, so much people are homeless and die in winter while whole cities rot, just because the bankster don't get money for it, sad people don't want to see what is wrong about the monetary system, everything is there, ways more than needed, but only a few can have it and all just because of a fantasy value :/

The last owner should have been fined a lot of money, for doing that to the house, some people geesh. I would get startled to, if someone drinking beer, stopped to check on you, especially when the house was that far gone, nothing to steal or ruin anymore, he was just being nosey 😭
