Urban Exploring With Kappy

7 жыл бұрын

The First house I explored was built in 1850 and sits on 45 acres of land, which has all been sold recently and since the house is not listed as a historical place, it means it will most likely be torn down for new houses. There was some cool stuff inside like a old PlayStation Wheel and a bunch of kids toys along with personal belongings. I couldn't find any information on the 2nd place but it seems like it may have been built in the late 1800s or early 1900s just judging from the lath board in the walls. All filmed in Maryland.
*The very final minute of the video EXPLANATION*
I was taking pictures with exploring with Thomas and a neighbor of the house pulled up next to us (while drinking a beer and seeming slightly drunk) and asked what we were doing. He was a nice guy and gave us some background on the house and why it sits abandoned now. The current owners of it wanted to demolish it and put up condos but since the house is listed as a historic place they can't. So instead they just let it fall into disrepair until it can only be demolished sadly!! Sorry if I sound startled while talking with him, I was unsure of what he would do at first but he turned out to be a really nice guy!
PLEASE Check out and subscribe to Exploring With Thomas Channel ! He is an Awesome fellow urban explorer!
/ @eastcoastabandoned6657
I DO NOT STEAL OR VANDALIZE, I only take pictures and video and only go in if it's already open , I do not give out locations to prevent further vandalism to these historic places! Always get permission if possible!
Thanks for watching everyone. Hope you enjoy it! Make sure to like and sub if you haven't already so you know when my next videos out, Thanks!!!(: You guys rock!!

I love your videos for a few reasons..... First of all you're very respectful and it's obvious that you have compassion for the people who once lived there. You never make fun of or mock the Hoarders. Second.....you never take the Lord's name in vain or drop any F-bombs or foul language. I don't have to worry if my grandchildren are watching with me. It's funny the way young kids like to see abandoned places. Our future explorers. The third thing I would like to say is I appreciate how clearly you talk and I appreciate how you always try to get some history on the house and previous owners. And the last thing I want to say....You're very mature and wise beyond your years. My hat is off to your parents. They did a wonderful job raising you. Any parent would be proud to have you for a son. Take care and God bless.

Urban Exploring With Kappy Here's independent confirmation from another old(er) lady-everything Ms. Giocondo said goes for me as well-ya done real good, Kappy. Could you do one more thing in your videos-would you please linger a little longer on really neat features like the old stove and the bathtub? Some of us love to research the manufacturers if brand names are visible and the information can sometimes add to the history of the house. Plus that stuff is just plain cool to look at. Thanks, Kappy, for all-around nice videos.

Hello! My uncle built a mansion in Hickory, Maryland in 1996. He then sold it to build another one, the person that bought it could not afford it and was soon foreclosed on within their ownership, the mansion has been sitting abandoned for about a decade now. You would probably like it.

Tragedy happens disabling people from doing anything that happens. I lost my home if 28 years to no fault of my own and feared I was going to have to leave everything behind for disarray. Really, and sadly, very few people care.

Yes, so much people are homeless and die in winter while whole cities rot, just because the bankster don't get money for it, sad people don't want to see what is wrong about the monetary system, everything is there, ways more than needed, but only a few can have it and all just because of a fantasy value :/

That was pretty sad finding the Diary. That person must have really loved that guy a lot. It is sad to find it so many years later just left there to rot. All of those special memories are gone. I wonder where the girl is that owned the Diary? It would be nice to try to locate her if she is still living. There are a lot of ways to locate people now with all of this smart technology that we have today.

It's so weird to me watching videos like these. Out here in the Bay Area of California we have a housing shortage; we're importing new workers but have no place to put them because local laws won't allow new housing to be built (to keep existing home values up). New arrivals live in horrible apartments with 3 or 4 in a single bedroom. Here, these places you are exploring would be multimillion dollar properties, and nobody would ever let them rot to the ground like that... and having actual acreage around a home is almost unheard of unless you live far, far out of town up in the mountains. And even there - my friend bought a pretty big home on 3 acres about 10 years ago for almost 900k. Who knows what it is worth today!!

The last owner should have been fined a lot of money, for doing that to the house, some people geesh. All it needed at one time was a new roof. But if you don't have the money you just don't have it.

Wow this first house is sad . Both once much loved homes . Neither at the point of filming where total losses , however the second probably would take 2-3 hounded thousand to restore and make livable . They just don’t build homes with character like they did back then now .

dorothydanridge Usually it’s looters or just people looking for valuables, who have no desire to clean up after there done searching, it’s sad but very common. Thanks for watching
