I really feel sorry for Nolan and Justin as the last two main hosts left, and with Justin being relatively new. It seems they're holding on but not really liking their job. I look for Justin to move on pretty soon. He seems pretty relegated to just being the guy who loses the car-trivia games rather than the replacement or compliment to Jobe as the guy who actually knows how to work on cars.

I know Donut allowed Zach and Jerry to plug their channel at the end of the last Ranger video, but it does seem like James is probably on the verge of leaving, possibly to join BigTime or start his own thing.

To me James is like that one weird and crazy but cool uncle who gives you awesome gifts and loves to get his hands dirty. I miss the days of James being legit emotional in his Up to Speeds and other videos, like when he was crying over the deaths of Carrol Shelby and Ken Miles. And also when he was yelling "MO POWAH BABY," "LIGHTNING," and "BUFF HORSES." He's the face of Donut Media and I can't imagine the channel without him. If the rumors of James leaving are actually true, that would really be a big blow to the channel, and in about a few weeks from now not even half of the Donut cast will be recognizable.

A friend of mine recently left a brand he was a large part of because he was promised proof of equity for months and months, finally the last time he asked the company said it would “be best to part ways”. I feel something similar happened here

Typical agreements ask that important brand spokesmen or executives make regular appearances for a certain amount of time after a buyout. Notice how his last few feature videos focus on him making big purchase… he got a small windfall. James is probably just doing the minimum to get his corporate money. Bro definitely made a lot more as a biomedical engineer maybe that’s why he sounded so sad about it lol. _Starting_ 60k when no one really knew who Jeremy was, is fine imo. Later on though when he was in a lot of videos, he definitely made more and I want to see that contract because he never mentioned his latest salary before leaving lol. Not knocking down on Jeremy or anything. I like him. He’s very likeable.
