The past three years have been absolute hell for me... My grandpa passed away two weeks before Christmas in 2019, then my nonbiological grandma passed away a few days before Easter in 2020, then I lose three buddies that I called my brothers in a tragedy at an event due to carbon monoxide poisoning last year. During that same year, my mom's boss, whom I looked up to at times, passed away two days after my 20th birthday. Now, a nonbiological aunt is in the hospital for some time and the doctors don't know what's wrong with her. Sometimes I feel like I just want to end it all and get rid of my suffering, but a voice always calls out to me and reminds me that there's still much to live for. I'm still here because of my mom and the many friends I made during my 21 years of life. I'm still going forward because I realized that sometimes when you suffer, it doesn't always mean doom and gloom. It means that you're still alive and want to continue living. The more pain you feel, the more alive you will be. Although I hate pain and death, I've come to accept them because it's sadly part of life, but those two things are also the important teachers as well. So to those who are in the same spot as I am, don't give up on hope. There are people who truly do care about you. Life happens for a reason. Don't throw it away. Because eventually at some point, you might have to end up talking someone out of ending their life by sharing your own personal experiences. Remember, there are others who are going through a similar rough time, so always make sure to talk to them and help them out. You might end up saving their life because of it. To whoever reads this, always believe in yourself and never give up hope.

My dad got cancer with me at age 8. The cancer left for a while. But it came back. He died a few years later when I was 11.. I miss him so much.. the last words I said to home were “you don’t love me”.. but now I know he does.. my words to you are, don’t say anything mean or rude to your parents. Because of David Goggins, this song always reminds me of his long journey and transformation from a weak guy to a warrior. It makes me think about my life and how I am also going through a transformation and a long journey. This journey will be incredibly long or infinitely long. An immense amount of suffering will come my way but I’m ready. The journey is life and trying to be a good person, and it’s a beautiful journey no matter how many times it will knock me down. Sad music is an audible cue to cry. To cry is to filter out the toxins the brain produces. Those toxins or negative emotions remind you of current problems. Once your mind filters, you are grateful to the artists that indirectly relate to you. This filtering and gratitude gives you the strength and education to carry on in life. I know not many people will be willing to read this but hear me out if you would like to. I am 17. I go to school everyday. I have a good family. Yet life doesn’t bring me happiness at all it feels like. Even when I am having fun with friends there are still those sad thoughts at the back of my head. My grades are not the best, and it’s really hard for me to talk to anyone in this world. I feel like parents will shout at me, whereas friends may not understand. It’s like I have nowhere to go. I’ve had so many thoughts about what if I ran away from everything? However, the realisation comes down as well, but where will I run? And how am I meant to survive? All of this, is just piling on everyday. I sometimes wished that I go to sleep and don’t wake up another day. If you read this thank you. I needed to say it somewhere. ✌️ Edit: Guys thank you for all these comments and likes. Every time I comeback there at least 10 new comments and a 100 more likes. I will try some of the techniques you have suggested. I hope you also have that someone to talk to. Also for all the people that tell me to turn to god, I have believed in God sometime, went into a catholic school, but I just had a moment, where I questioned everything and kind of stopped believing in him. As for Islam, I have not studied the religion enough and may try it but I am not sure if it will be for me as well since Christianity and Islam are similar in my perspective as far as I know. I had a bestfriend, we were so close, like were we incomplete without each other, always together, almost for 7 years, couldn't imagine our lives without each other. And in all this, i fell in love with her, she was the world to me, i never expressed my feeling to her because i was scared if I'll ever tell her , she may get mad leave me.... Last month, I lost my grandmother due to poor health. I was at school when he passed on, so I was never able to say my goodbyes, I never got to tell her that I loved her, and I never got to apologize for not spending more time with her. She meant so much to me, and I never got to tell her that... Besides that fact, I wasn't given the proper amount of time to mourn, it just felt like life wanted me to keep going without giving me a chance to breathe. Have you ever felt like the whole world was against you? Then you get these feelings that brings you down and you keep asking yourself the same question over and over on why your feeling this way? When you have times when you think everyone around you just thinks your just a worthless being? Then it comes down to loneliness not feeling like your going to be good enough to get anyone because you don’t even love yourself? That’s how I felt since high school where I ended up in some relationship that ended horribly. The one who just uses you cheats on you just dates you for a little bit just to bring you down even though you did nothing wrong. Then you have mix feelings . And now it feels like a non ending cycle day in day out feels like your day is just repeating itself over and over becoming duller and duller. Same job same life same habits rather if it’s bad habits or not . Not having a lot of motivation to get up to go to work. To not feeling like you got what it takes and have to keep reminding yourself that you have to find something that makes you happy. So you end up buying stuff but money can only take you so far the objects won’t make you happy for very long. Money will never truly bring you happiness. It still haunts me to think I may die alone. But this shall not stop me from trying to accomplish my goals but yet seems so far. For those who read this message and if you know what I’m talking about or going thu your worst moments keep going. Keep your head up. It will get better eventually. Even the small moments count
