This record is like a good friend. Spend a couple years away and come back and it's like no time has passed at all.

This is a such a good record. I find it bizarre that more obscure Eastern Europe tunes have more views on KZbin than this absolute banger

I totally agree. Especially since it's not on any of the streaming platforms. This album has all the best versions of these songs, too.

And yet, it's highly likely judging from the comments on other Sad Lovers songs that more Eastern Europeans know this band than English people 😛

more good shit from the very early 80s man. it was impossible to hear these discreet bands back then, because music back then was only played popularly on radio and a few stations of tv, and that new popular music back then, particularly after the take off of punk, was even pretty good. if you got to know about any other bands it might only be thru reading it a month old Nme. But if you wanted to hear what they wrote about, and i doubt even bands like Sad Lovers & Giants ever even got writ about in Nme, other than a schedule in a tour, then you could make the trip to town on a train, where old guys smoked durries on red vinyled seats, to the local record store and order the Ep or Lp and wait six to 8 weeks for it to be delivered on a boat. then go get it and play it when no one was home on the family record player, loud. So wat i mean is youse never heard about most of these bands unless they came from where you were from. KZbin the consumer of more energy than cryptoz and small euro pop nations, is so choice for re-archiving forgotten digital music recordings.

It's incredible that we are fortunate enough to find them on YT these days. Theres some incredible songs with about 50 views I've found in the deepest recesses of YT, it beggars belief this stuff isn't better known
