That’s ridiculous having to wait 6-7 hours in the er! What if your fingers were almost severed off would they just give you a bucket of ice for you to put your hand in and still have to wait 6-7 hours!?! Ridiculous! I am grateful that your fingers are still intact. Wishing you a fast recovery.

I literally went through something similar last month. Sliced my fingers open on a steak knife,passed out from the pain,went to the ER to get temporary stitches & had nerve & tendon repair surgery 2 days later. Still recovering and can’t do a darn thing around my house,I’m finally able to do my daughter’s hair 🙃 Mine happened to the right hand & I’m right handed 🥲 I’m surprised they didn’t schedule surgery right away because tendons are very sensitive & need to be repaired within like a week or you risk losing full function. Or at least that’s what I was told. Sending good thoughts & vibes your way,& for goodness sake you need to rest girl ! I know you have a lot of responsibility but your following will understand.

Update: so glad they’re taking it seriously,should have watched the whole thing before commenting but wasn’t sure if you’d be able to update lol Therapy isn’t that bad but it is extensive. I’m 6 weeks out & still can’t use my fingers but I did just get the splint off so that’s been nice !

I know how that is, I have a scar on my jaw from where it got cut open from where I fell after I got dizzy when my blood pressure got low, my dad and I were sitting in the waiting room of the er for like 4-5 hours, something like that.

I'll second what someone else said, physical therapy helps but it's a game changer if you do what they teach you in physical therapy when you're not there as well, it can really speed up progress and some people tend to only do them during therapy. Mine always reminded me to be doing the techniques and excersises at home or wherever. Even after I completed my physical therapy they told me to keep doing the excersises and techniques because down the road things can stiffen up/regress and it does help. I definitley can notice when I've been slacking 😅

I legit felt your pain and rage so much when you were talking about hating landlords in your last video lol! At my last and final apartment my unit got flooded by the one above mine and it was a shitshow of everyone trying to pass blame and screw me over rather than fixing it, and I actually had to sue them to get what they owed me. That was my breaking point and I moved in with my family for a few months while I took some of my retirement funds to buy a house. It's been three years now and I regret nothing.
