wow... the story about Sadam meeting Robin was amazing...FYI..I fought in the Iran-Iraq war as an Iranian soldier from 1986-88. I was 19 years old then. Fought against Iraqi republican guards on the southern front.

@@DenKrauten Did your BS meter go off? I got a feeling that this guy is just a wee bit light on the pilot jargon? Almost seems like he is telling somebody else's story. Maybe it's the rather simple minded smiling and giggling, but he just doesn't seem to have what should be the look of seriousness on his face. I kind of get the impression he was not being honest about his feelings toward the US before and even after the US invasion. If the only source of news is from Iraq, is he saying that there was favorable news toward the US? He said most Iraq people supported the US invasion. How would he even know that? Who would be so dumb to say anything pro American, if it meant an immediate execution? I think Mike was getting a little suspicious too. He asked for a copy of that letter he claimed his lawyer was holding. Who gives an important letter proving your story to your attorney and doesn't have another copy? I wonder if he ever got that letter?

I wonder if Mike was convinced that this guy was legit? Mike asked him for the letter to put on display, I think he was trying to verify this guys stories. The puzzle is made even more strange when he makes the claim that Iraqi people were not enemies of the US. Those people had no choice, either they spewed hate to America or they got a bullet to the brain. Where would they even get positive info on the US?

The book is full of lies he said he flying sadaam Hussein in 1996 to meet Rabin pm of Israel but mr Rabin was killed in November 4 , 1995 , so how can we believe ( chapter 5, page 85 ) Chapter 3 page 41 he mentioned he flew to Mogadishu in 1987 during coup but the truth is there is no coup happened in Somali republic from 1969 to 1991 , so how we believe that happened! He is deceived you but not deceived the truth.

Further proof that it is rarely the "actual people" of a country that we have differences with. It is almost always the leadership. (And that goes both ways, most likely.) I am not a wilting flower who believes everything would be okay if we were just nicer to each other. There are evil people in the world and they need to be dealt with. But although I am a very proud American, I find myself wondering what would happen if we got less involved in the affairs of others. Would the people of Iraq have dealt with their dictator if the US hadn't? What about the people of Russia? I don't know these answers. And I am fully aware that the American government has had a direct hand in the toppling of multiple leaders around the globe. I hope for a day when none of us need to pick up rifles anymore, in order to carry out the orders from a "commander in chief" who may or may not have the best interests of people in mind.

Beneath the axis of the eclipse the Shadow Boxer is victorious. By defeating darkness, the Shadow Boxer engages the stars in a universal battle of natural selection for light.
