Anastasia is so Barbie coded Edit: Jarvis I have a scoreboard and for every time you say exactly what I was thinking I add a tally to the “I am Jarvis” category. Idk how people actually looked in that competition, maybe nobody looked like him at all, but people of different races can look alike. obviously there would be one "glaring" difference but eh, why not include people of different races it's a fun contest. also I'm Asian but I know maybe only a couple of people in my very asian country that have similar bone structure to him 🤷‍♂️

This is like my favourite way to reas book series: by starting on the second book. Not only will the plot be mostly re-explained as it goes on, it will also be done in such a cliff-notes kind of way that parts are left out and you're forced to clue your way through things. It makes the world building feel more rich that way.

And I can’t always just do them when I remember because the exercises also cause pain, so if I have shit to do, I have to wait. Disclaimer: ramble ahead mb Super super unbiased (/s) opinion here from someone who really fell in love with the Spiderverse films, but I highly recommend seeing the rest of Across the Spiderverse, even before the second part comes to theaters! I saw it on the opening night without any warning that it would be split into two parts, but my initial disappointment of being "let down" by the cliff-hanger ending was _very_ quickly replaced by relief that this story had been afforded the runtime and resources to be fully developed and explored for the big screen. I had some initial mixed feelings on the pacing in the middle of the movie, but I've since realized that this was because I had become so used to watching movies that rushed plots and character arcs and everything, and I was so unused to seeing movies that had so much love and intention poured into every moment on-screen. Plus, I got the time to really mull over the movie, to digest its themes and characters, through the time that has passed since the movie's release. Some _small_ warning about the movie being split really would have been appreciated, but I digress lmao Also, the movie is just such a treat for the eyes, and it's worth seeing for just the art and animation alone. I especially love how detailed and expressive the animation of characters' body language is, on top of the gorgeous and inspired environmental art.

23:55 Not me listening to this podcast RIGHT after watching a few cutdowns of Hasan reacting to news channels and shit… My ass feels so called out 😭 30:50 Barbenheimer also worked because it came naturally and organically. It was so easy to look at both movies and be like “wow that’s an insane contrast, releasing at the same time. How fun would it be to watch both back to back” But to do it again, it’s too soon for one, but the movies have to be unbelievably opposite themes. Wicked and Gladiator is pretty opposite but not quite the same level as “what if Barbie and Barbieland was real and she has an adventure to our world to understand her purpose and highlight the value of women!” vs “biopic about the man who had a pretty large part in building the weapon that changed the entire world and devastated entire areas of Japan and killed hundreds of thousands” It was also the styling and design of the two movies. But to all the fans of both or either movies, Wicked and Gladiator, if it makes you happy, then celebrate that shit! I like the idea and story of Wicked, but I’m not into musicals at all unfortunately 😔

I'VE ALSO FLOWN A PLANE! It's remarkable easy with an instructor. I also landed it which was HORRIFYING that he let me, but yeah. Flying (small) planes ain't that hard, and I imagine commercial planes are an entirely different beast, but you also have ground control.

When the chapters said "Barbie Anastasia" I thought it was about Anastasia Romanov. (Like the princess of the last Russian royal family who where gunned down in a basement...) and they we're going to talk about a barbie themed after her. IDK sorry...

I can’t believe you all haven’t realized this yet. The reason hawk tuah girl is going on all these horrible podcasts I’m assuming is her management. From what I remember she is literally represented by Logan Paul’s betting and media company “Betr”…. So clearly they are trying to capitalize on the viral moment and I really don’t think they care where her audience and podcast land as long as it make them money I would imagine. I don’t know who would have been better to start a podcast with but I am sure there are better podcasting studios that she could have worked with that would not be putting her with like weird old rich men
