My cat is 13 and it's rly sad bc my parents keep her in the basement. We have a nice basement with heating and everything but I know she gets lonely. I try to spend time with her tho. The sad thing is she keeps eating insulation and throwing up and my parents won't take her to a vet. I just recently got my driver's license tho so once I can drive on my own (my parents won't let me yet) and have the money I'm going to take her to the vet to make sure she's ok. All pets should be able to live a long happy life. This cats age gives me hope that I won't lose mine too soon. I've had her since I was 6 years old and she was a rescue so I want to give her the best life I can

Ur trying ur best and just remember that and try day after day to convince ur parents. Maybe try getting a little job or save up or smth just enough to pay for one visit. I bet their are also free vets around that can help. Ask ur parents if u can just drive once to take ur baby and I wish u the best of luck❤

I had a hamster that didn’t live very long due to him doing something in his huge cage, and shattered his back leg, it couldn’t be fixed the only option was amputation or putting him down, and amputation could come with severe side effects so we but him down, the vet gave him a shot that made him very happy for a couple of minutes, i got to hold him the entire time and then the second shot was him going to sleep forever. I cried so much and couldn’t stop. The vet said we could bury him in our backyard, so we did R.I.P beloved Butter.

This is similar to how my hamster died. I noticed that her eyes were closed, and she wasn’t walking properly, so I told my mum, and she died wrapped in a tea towel, being held by me. She was so cute and tiny. I was really sad when she died. But I’m sure she’s happy, with many new hamster friends, all running around like crazy, that was her favorite thing to do. She loved her wheel, and it makes sense, her kind runs many miles in a day in the wild, and my mum used to always say ‘run, little legs, run’ whenever she was running in her wheel ❤

You r right . I had a cat where she gave birth and kittens will die whithin 3 months I have lost around 26-30 kittens until I found out what is going on . My cat doesn't like to keep her children inside our house she have a small house of her own in our yard so every night a male cat would sneak in and attack all the kittens which is y they all die . I found this out when I was studying late at night. So after that incident we have been super careful about ths kittens and their mama.
