I was wondering if 20 millimeter Ammo cans would work with your brackets. Those are shorter ammo cans that you showed, or they seem to be. Would you still give include the template if we bought the brackets to put ammo cans on, or do we need to buy them? I just want the holes to be lined up, and the same on both. I would have to find out the measurements on them and your hard bags, but would the template work for other hardbags and the ammo cans? I want to find out, so I buy these, before they go off sale and I can't afford them, anymore.

the 20 mm cans work really well. We've got a couple locals that are running those. We recommend you remove the small ridge that runs diagonally across the box so you get a flat mounting surface. You'll need to order a hard bag mounting kit which includes the template. We also sell an adapter bracket that will accommodate shorter boxes like the pelican 1430.

@@bp78tube, Cool deal. So, the template works the same with the ammo cans, as with the hardbags? I thought, since they might be different measurements, that there might need to be some adjusting of the template. It would be great if it worked the same. Also, can that ridge be taken of, without damaging anything, including the paint?

@@bp78tube, What's been going on with the company? I haven't tried in a while, because every time that I tried, a few months ago, he stopped answering calls and e-mail. I was thinking that something bad happened to him. I'm still wondering when the brackets for Sportsters will be available. I didn't think that it would be this long, so, I figure something must be wrong.

Sorry man, there's a lot that goes into developing these. Sportsters are almost ready, but before we release them to the masses we want to make sure the fit is perfect. Check back in a couple weeks and we'll have them ready to go
